Saladino was even worse than Carlos at the plate, and FWIW, Sanchez had a much better 2nd half of hitting. Also, I'd give Shuck a B and Melky a B-.

Yes, he has. I think his hitting is a fluke, but his defense is worthy of him being the 2016 center fielder

I personally think we should pick up Alexei's option. He came around both offensively and defensively as the year went on. Saladino would provide similar or better defense, but his hitting would be atrocious as an everyday player.

and this season is ovah. it was doomed from the start with Samardzija sucking on opening day. the winning streak in July was nice though. We had a better record than the now first place Rangers at the time.

Anyway, 0.2 innings pitched due to bad defense? Yikes. Does he really want to leave baseball on that note?
