Frazier at DH. Makes sense being his last game and all. Not playing the field wil save his strength for hugs later in the game.

Just had a funny thought with a few ironic twists. All winter long Huntington refused to pull the trigger on Q because of Meadows. Meadows is having a down year as well as two (Glasgow/Newman) of the prospects offered for Q. Now, Q is with their division rival for at least the next three seasons. Oh, and the Sox got a better OF prospect to headline the deal. Hope Huntington and Meadows are happy together.

Nice move by Rizzo. All he needs to do is find a few more middle relievers to compliment this trade and they're in much better shape. Those middle relievers won't cost the Nat's too much in prospects so they'll keep their big names. Would be shocked if they were still in on Robertson.

Not one Sox fan likes the idea of helping the cubs, just like no cub fans liked helping the Sox but in the end both teams got the best of what's available and what they needed. There's no reason to think Hahn had a better offer. Then again, maybe we should have settled for Glasgow/Newman/+ ? The Sox were after a top OF prospect to headline a return for Q and got him, I'm happy with this deal. Sox love 1St, cub hatred 2ND.

I think it would be pretty cool to have a teletubbie for designated hitter.

I hope the Astros go after Gray and get cornholed by Beane. Gray would fit right in with that rotation and I'm not talking about Houston's starting rotation. I'm talking about the revolving door Houston's pitchers have with the DL. Passing on a durable pitcher like Q only to turn around and add a pitcher like Gray to their brittle rotation sounds like a Luhnow move.

Bummer. He's young and the Sox are rebuilding so he's got plenty of time to recover. Would Burdi qualify for the AFL in 2018 if he comes back in July/August next year?
