I thought it was hilarious but I'm not sure if I actually liked it. I get that it was some David Lynch stuff with a "WTF?" factor but honestly it kinda pulled me out of the "Implausible but hilarious" view of the show to "Too ridiculous even though it's funny" view now. The previews for next week basically confirm that what happened was reality so I'm going to let the season play out before I make a final judgement on the episode but currently it has tempered my expectations of the show.

I just don't buy this theory. The Sox we're plummeting in the standings when they made the Shields move. It was desperation to keep that fluke start alive. The rebuild became inevitable even without Shields help. Not going to sit here and say we all knew what the Sox were trading away when they got Shields but I find it funny when people try to say James Shields brought on the rebuild and not their terrible,old roster (outside of the 2 Cy Young Contenders)

I'm not gonna sit here and rehash the Tatis thing again but it's hard not to imagine an infield of YoYo,Timmy,and Tatis and what might have been. Not to mention if Madrigal becomes the guy we think he could be then he would have become an amazing trade chip for a front line starter/other need. Sucks
