OTOH, this is a really hopeful outlook for the Phillies on your part. Their owner said they were ready to be "a little stupid". 1 more guaranteed year for Corbin is just the right amount of stupid to secure a major piece you're targeting.

Philly because even the owner came out and said they would not be outbid and ready to spend stupid yet already failed to land a top target by not outbidding the field. Yanks because they had a bigger need in their rotation for someone like Corbin instead of Machado, it made sense for them to splurge on the rotation when their infield is pretty set once Didi gets back. I guess it just seems like they're conscious about not spending too much unless prices drop. just my view tho.

I never want to see Chase Daniel start another game for the Bears. Yes the defense got soft in the second half, being manhandled by the worst OL in football but the offense runs at about 1/4 the speed with Daniel in there.

Well that's good to hear, seeing "achillies" and DNP practice suddenly looked terrifying at first glance. Like a couple of people have said in the thread already, I do get those terrible losses with backup QBs from past flashbacks but if Daniel stinks it up Sunday after beating the Lions on 3 days rest I'm gonna be real disappointed to be honest. Nagy playcalling and Bears D should nab us this game tho, quiet confidence they will win this one easily.
