That's why I said I was hesistant with the word but even if 2 of those 3 hit close to their ceiling then Rays won the trade. If all 3 do, they definitely fleeced Pitt

I don't like using this word so early in the trade but hard not to think the Rays fleeced the Pirates here. Archer is so meh for mortgaging that much control.

Arenado is 2 years older than Machado and will be the gem of the 2019 FA class (if he even makes it. He will be paid the same if not more than Machado IMO.Hahn is better off going all in on Machado and paying the man with an opt out after 3 years.

If they’re studs Sox will have to pay to keep their own no matter what,it’s not like they will remember being brought up in late 2018 allowing them to FAs earlier will make them re-sign at a discount.

My obvious observation of the day:Tropicana and it’s playing field looks like a dump.

And i don't see a way this can be hidden/improved unless they damn near ignore the rule.

Mostly the inconsistency that this rule is gonna bring to the field, with alot of borderline calls getting called and a few clear ones being missed. It's going to become even more noticeable when the games get faster,tougher in the regular season. Not to mention the review on some of these will bog the games down.

If yesterday’s game is a preview of what’s to come from the new helmet rule then the NFL has some big problems. That was unwatchable at times last night and it had nothing to do with the level of talent playing.
