  1. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 05:41 PM) It's just a pet peeve. I've seen more people spell his name incorrectly than the right way. It isn't that hard. Bitter...party of one your table is ready!
  2. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 06:01 PM) So if I coached Little League longer than Ventura, my opinions are just as valid, lol? I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 05:44 PM) Thanks for the correction. I will leave it up there just to piss you off
  4. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 05:35 PM) What the absolute hell does Jared Mitchell have to do with anything? No kidding. How does he fit in with those two?
  5. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 04:21 PM) How stupid do people have to be to continually spell Jordan Zimmermann's name with only one "N"? Don't be that guy
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 06:53 AM) How times have changed. In 1997, the Sox were 3 1/2 games out in July and traded away vets for prospects, and some fans still haven't forgiven them for the "White Flag Trade". Now, on June 14th, the Sox are 3 1/2 games out, ironically behind the same team, although far less talented roster, and many fans want to blow the whole thing up. Get another bat, and win the division. You're missing 2 pen arms
  7. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 03:12 PM) His f-it move is playing Avi in the outfield? Mine would be like, 6 infielders, starting the game with a reliever, etc. What's next, starting Tyler at Shortstop? What a wild man! Or putting Danish in in a 1 run game.
  8. Remember in Superbad when Michael Cera said, "three weeks of school left f*** IT!" That's robin right now. "Bout to get fired f*** IT!"
  9. QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 12:21 PM) The guys arguing that we wouldn't have won without Rentaria are the guys who have never played, nor managed a baseball game. That's it. I haven't played so why formulate an opinion at all. Guess there's no reason for sports discussion boards then because most don't play or a lot haven't. Doesn't mean they're uneducated when it comes to point of views and opinions on sports.
  10. You keep putting Avi in that outfield Robin
  11. Can last nights game be a momentum changer? I don't think so. Won't get to face Detroit's s*** pitching everyday
  12. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 03:08 AM) He's 36 years old (or something). Did you expect him to be an ace? Because they wouldn't have gotten an ace for Erik Johnson, Fernando Tatis Jr, and $20+ million. I don't think anyone expects that. Just be a solid 4. Gonzalez is better than shields right now.
  13. Whatever would the Sox have done without Robin and his mind boggling decisions? He's awful and everyone knows it.
  14. Also helluva game for Eaton in his first 2 hole spot. 4-5 and on base 5 times. I like that potential of Anderson and Eaton atop the lineup.
  15. Abreu just seemed to be trying to do way too much all the time. He's back now with good ABs, contact and power. Now to get the ToddFather going...
  16. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 12:22 AM) Almonte was traded for Kahnle. Aumont retired. Ah ok.
  17. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 12:15 AM) I think they should keep batting Tim Anderson lead off. Its the spot in the line up where he projects the best with his ability to make contact and his speed, having get familiar with batting in that spot now is better for his development. I agree. I didn't have an issue with it and Eaton was good in the 2 spot. I like this top of the lineup and down to Lawrie. After that it's shaky.
  18. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 12:11 AM) Kahnle again, seems like a possibility. Or Ynoa, even though he sucks. Kahnle sucks too. Almonte was good in ST IIRC but has struggled in AAA. Our options aren't the best unfortunately.
  19. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 09:23 PM) Kessel should of won the Smythe. While I agree, Crosby did have 19 points and did a lot of other things that were key. Shot blocking, had some absolutely sick passes to get guys great looks, winning face offs including the game winner in OT in game 2.
  20. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 09:41 PM) Here's what I have for Robin's mistakes today- -Starting Garcia in RF, which led to him making 3-4 horrible plays -DHing Coats... I mean, yikes -Putting a mediocre AA pitcher in Tyler Danish in what was then a 1 run game Nailed it
  21. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 12:06 AM) I'd give Coats more than 9 ABs before writing him off. Having said that, I wouldn't mind giving Danny Hayes a look. If his ABs weren't so bad and clearly overmatched, I'd say keep him up.
  22. Danish sent down. I imagine Coats isn't far behind.
  23. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 11:59 PM) Shuck now 7 for 41 on the season. .171. En fuego. Wonder if Coats gets sent down next? He got pulled in the 6th. I bet so
  24. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 11:47 PM) Avi has always looked more comfortable against soft tossers Just see his extra innings AB where he Ks on a high 95 mph fastball
