  1. Yankees coming out of nowhere. I was hoping they'd come for him. They're the best match left for the Sox. Start with a Frazier, Torres package. I'd be good with a deal like some above have said. Frazier, Torres, and Mateo/Rutherford and maybe one more low lotto ticket. But would do very well to pry those 3 or some combo. Sort of like 3 stud prospects like the Eaton return.
  2. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Dec 16, 2016 -> 06:21 PM) Just telling you what I've heard. It sounds like a lot of people, including the Red Sox, put Benintendi over Moncada anyway, and I like Law also puts Devers over Moncada. Devers was my guy. I wanted he over Kopech and wanted him the most. He could end up better out of the three (Benny, Moncada, Devers)
  3. Just have to wait for that one team to put pressure on Houston ala WAS on BOS
  4. I absolutely will because it's for the better good of this franchise to get as many top 5 picks as possible in the next few years. Next year I anticipate being in one of the 3 worst teams.
  5. The Sox can sell him on their ability to rehab pitchers and keep them healthy to go along with their great track record of healthy starters.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 13, 2016 -> 03:26 PM) Yeah. Robertson wasn't there last year either. I don't think it is a sign he is already traded. But it is pretty apparent he is going to go probably pretty soon. Oh I wasn't saying it as "he's traded" but more as an indicator it will be done soon.
  7. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 13, 2016 -> 03:23 PM) Odds are he is going to be an ex White Sox by then. But Quintana is listed
  8. I know Houston wouldn't but I'd do a straight up Q for Bregman
  9. Martes and Tucker are the must haves for me. Then work from there.
  10. Honestly, winter meetings should be an all week thing from Sunday to Sunday.
  11. At this point, just hang onto Frazier. Maybe someone has an injury in spring training and has to pay up for him. Or let him man third and move him at the deadline.
  12. QUOTE (heirdog @ Dec 12, 2016 -> 07:34 PM) Someone will blink...and w 4 years of cheap control, it absolutely will not be the White Sox Absolutely
  13. Hypothetically, what would the Cubs deal look like? Happ, Jimenez ++?
  14. Boy, if Hahn pulled off a Robertson for Robles deal, I'd be stoked. That's not happening though.
  15. I have faith. I think if Q and Robertson is gone this week then they're well on their way. It's not like Abreu, Melky and Frazier can carry this team. The pitching will be substantially worse. If they move any of Melky, Abreu or Frazier, then that'll add to it even more. I really think they're going to be a top 3 pick. They need to do whatever it takes to get that first overall pick. Tanking is needed and best for this franchise for the next year or two.
  16. I anticipate Q and Robertson to be dealt this week.
  17. Ya Frazier's market is very thin man. I expect them to keep him and launch him at the deadline.
  18. I think we hold onto Melky, Abreu and Frazier til the deadline. Q is gone IMO. Just a waiting game for Houston I'd imagine.
  19. QUOTE (Blackout Friday @ Dec 11, 2016 -> 07:13 PM) I'd prefer Pint, personally. Healthy track record and a stunning resemblance to Seth McFarland. Win-win. Giggity
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 11, 2016 -> 06:56 PM) The Bears absolutely need to do something at QB. Either a high draft pick or a trade for a short term veteran, or perhaps even both. The fact that this administration hasn't even tried, despite knowing the clock on Cutler would potentially have him cut after this year, is inexcusable. At least spend a 3rd round pick and see if you find a Dak Prescott. I get the frustration believe me. I'm a KC fan. We have won a game with a drafted QB in over 29 years. I f***ing hate retread QBs. In life, you need to dare to be great. KC doesn't do that. FFS, they don't even TRY to draft one. It's sad.
