  1. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Dec 6, 2016 -> 03:37 PM) Keep Quintana in there until he's traded. Also, man, lefties, where you at? Only Rodon in there. We'll see what the future brings LOL
  2. I'm not worrying about pitching at all for the future. It's almost always there for us. Now we could have a rotation of: Rodon Fulmer Kopech Hansen Stephens
  3. Would bet anything Frazier is next. I think you'll see teams like WAS, HOU and ATL come for Quintana as well.
  4. Really hope Anderson and Moncada man the middle infield for the next 6 seasons. Now let's see who else we add. I'm studying so I gota get back but can someone give me a quick summary on Basabe and Diaz? Thanks
  5. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Dec 6, 2016 -> 03:08 PM) The Sox totally f***ed the Nationals last night. KW hates Mike Rizzo. They either leaked to Rosenthal and Heyman or the Nats did after thinking they had something locked up. That didn't even come to mind when I said that it's probably a leverage ploy. Makes a ton of sense.
  6. I thought Houston would seal the deal a week ago but boy did I call that Nats leak yesterday
  7. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Dec 6, 2016 -> 02:18 PM) Flip Q for the Nats package now? Toss in Eaton for more? Abreu to someplace Frazier/Melky/Robo dumped. Turn the old "core" of Sale/Q/Eaton/Abreu into 10-12 players with some stars. Turn the salary dumps into 5-6 players? You don't "toss in Eaton" at all
  8. Absolutely thrilled. Good luck to Chris in the future with Boston.
  9. QUOTE (Baron @ Dec 6, 2016 -> 01:59 PM) BTW the Red Sox just opened a massive hole a 3B. Unless you think Panda is going to fill that hole. Saw a tweet earlier that that is a possibility
  10. QUOTE (Baron @ Dec 6, 2016 -> 01:58 PM) Moncada and Tim Anderson in the IF...man that's nice Yup. I'm gona dance to that batman art museum seen in your honor! I don't care what anyone says. Love ya Chris! Good luck in Boston and will always have a place in my heart.
  11. Just got home from school. WOOOOO!! Great job Hahn. Got the untouchable plus Kopech and 2 more. Wanted Devers as well, so that is disappointing BUT I love it. I'm all on board with this.
  12. Going to bed, so you know what that means? This'll be done soon LOL
  13. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 5, 2016 -> 11:17 PM) Nats clearly have a lot of quality pieces to go with a couple upper echelon guys. Whether it is enough for JR to sign off, who knows. I'm still a skeptic without Nats really stepping up. I still put a shot on us pulling Turner. This is where Boston can come in and either a) help us get Turner or b) beat their offer and we get a great deal from Boston. I wouldn't sleep on Houston either.
  14. Rox have been my NL team for years because of CarGo. Would love to see Abreu if he's dealt.
  15. I'll f***ing protest if they make that trade LOL Bowden is a dumbass anyways
  16. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Dec 5, 2016 -> 10:35 PM) Bowden: The White Sox and Nationals are far down the road on a trade that will send Chris Sale to the Nationals in exchange for Lucas Giolito, Victor Robles and a low minor leaguer. Reynaldo Lopez and Koda Glover will not be in the proposed deal. The structure of the deal was first reported by Ken Rosenthal. That'd be a f***ing brutal trade.
  17. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 5, 2016 -> 10:26 PM) That's totally reasonable, those supplements will bet top 75 and much less sure things I'm trying to be reasonable and rational. Also not freaking out because it's likely a leak to up the other offers and it's playing out that way. Although, this does have legs but I think they're trying to get Boston to bite or Houston. I think Boston is the team they want to say "F-it" and relinquish the deal the White Sox want. Just my take on it. I bang the position player drum because the Sox can find the pitching. They found Q, Sale when others passed. Q obviously for other reasons, but Sale slid to the Sox and they trusted their staff and medical team. I think they can find pitching anywhere, so I want as many position players as possible. Particularly, the ones that aren't very far away.
  18. I'll just go with the notion that there are no sure things in these types of trades. I wanted near ready position players, so the Sox didn't have to develop them.
  19. I'll just the process but I'm not a fan of this honestly. Wanted the headliner to be a position player, so I'm hoping it's what I think it is and that is a ploy to get Boston to cave.
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 5, 2016 -> 09:56 PM) To be fair, after the way the Nationals screwed the Sox at the deadline a few years ago, I don't think they feel bad using Rizzo. This Also, Hahn strikes after midnight
  21. That's what I said from the beginning while everyone was freaking out lol
  22. IMO, trading Sale for less than a young headliner like Turner, is an epic fail.
