I'll be disappointed but won't think they blew it at the deadline. Now after this offseason maybe. But last thing I want them to do is give these guys away

Texas has no shot because they won't want to give up Mazara. I'm not enamored with Gallo and Profar only has about 3 years of control left and with his agent, Boras, he'll want a big contract. Texas' system just doesn't do much for me outside of Mazara. Boston and LA are the teams but I just don't see them doing this deal midseason.

Id rank the three teams in terms of best match for us: Boston, LA and then Texas.

@BenBadler Andrew Benintendi 4-for-5 with two homers, two doubles today. Batting .312/.378/.532 and making a case for Minor League Player of the Year. @philgrogers @whitesox targeting him in Sale/Quintana talks but unclear if @RedSox willing to pay heavy price.

I don't know if you'll ever get the right return for Sale that's fair to the Sox. But is Moncada, Benintendi, Devers and Kopech and Vasquez taking less in your opinion?

@georgeofman Whitesox and Redsox still actively talking trade. Not certain it's for Sale. My guess is Quintana and Robertson. Maybe Hahn is trying to package those two to entice them to give more up. I've thought DRob would be packaged with Q or Sale all along.

@philgrogers @whitesox continue talking to teams about Sale and Quintana. @Dodgers , @Rangers and @RedSox remain involved. Will they meet high price? @whitesox love @RedSox CF Andrew Benintendi. @Dodgers have pieces that fit in 1B-OF Clay Bellinger, OF Alex Verdugo and 2B Willie Calhoun. I still say he's moved someone will blink. I'm wrong on sale. Thought someone would say f*** it and go all in. They won't get Moncada for Q but I think they get a Benintendi package. Benintendi, Kopech, Devers and one more piece should do it.

Getting rid of bullpen pieces and keeping Melky doesn't mean "they're going for it this year." It means they didn't get what they wanted. That's fine too.
