  1. Well that’s on the manager and coaches, we now have new rules where the bunt in the bottom of the 10th of a tie game is something that should be an automatic strategy, so many good things can happen with a bunt with one out, passed balls, wild pitches, sacrifice flies and errors and you don’t need a hit to win the game. Every position player should be working on bunting but hey I’ve only been following Baseball and the Sox for 71 years, WTF do I know.
  2. OK, any old kind of a run wins the game.
  3. Delete
  4. I think they wait until the break hoping they show some life in the rest of this homestand.
  5. Great job by Lance but Sox hitters didn’t help him a bit. Not sure if hitters is the word.
  6. That’s a good reason but I always thought that minor league AS games were on different weeks than the Majors ASG.
  7. What’s the ASG have to do with it, why can’t he rehab in Charlotte.
  8. That team would be worse than the 1962 Mets.
  9. We don’t need to see Sheets in right field any longer, if we keep him I’d use him to spell Vaughn once in awhile when there’s a tough righty pitcher opponent. BTW, Vaughn hasn’t been terrible this year but I’ve been a bit disappointed in him, I thought he would hit better with more power, his fielding has been decent and down through the years I’ve seen slower players. I’d give him the rest of this year and 2024 and if his production doesn’t improve the organization should trade him.
  10. And wouldn’t you know it, Diekman has been lights out since becoming a Ray, opposing hitters are batting .050 off him in his time with TB. Could it be the Rays have a pitching coach that knows what he’s doing.
  11. No argument from me, Grifol was a terrible hire but that’s the White Sox and Hahn for you.
  12. If I had any say, I’d tell him to forget the HR Derby. Right now he’s in a good place with his swing, timing and mechanics and the Derby could screw that up and with his history of injuries we might see a trip to the IL. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
  13. Robert has figured it out but the rest of these dopes haven’t, maybe they should make Luis the hitting coach.
  14. There are so many other things with this organization that someone has to come to their senses about.
  15. They must need bodies in Charlotte really bad. No pun intended.
  16. I hope we see the Colas we thought we were going to get in April, it looks like he’s ready based on his last few weeks in Charlotte. Let’s hope we’ve seen the last of Frazier, he was terrible yesterday and on top of it was working on his batting stance between pitches while out in right field, that’s a no-no and I like the story that Beckham told yesterday about one day he was doing the same thing and Paul Konerko chewed him out telling him don’t ever let me see you doing that again.
  17. Jake was hitting the ball pretty hard before the tip from his wife but not any homers.
  18. Not due to come off the IL until August, how do you trade him anytime soon.
  19. Not me, I want to see wins wherever and whenever.
