  1. Andrew having a day!
  2. Didn’t happen.
  3. Put the pressure on the M’s in the 11th, bunt the runner over.
  4. Cmon Jake, what was that?
  5. Nice job by Bummer. Our track record in extra innings on the road isn’t good, law of averages on our side.
  6. I can’t wait not to notice.
  7. Sometimes he’s just pathetic.
  8. Hey, we’re neighbors, probably same age and I agree with you 100%.
  9. And sliders are all they are going to see until they start laying off them.
  10. Sox with 4 GIDP today.
  11. Anderson pulled for what I don’t know. Maybe they just traded him.
  12. Lucas isn’t fooling anyone.
  13. More like plenty bad enough to lose. These clowns won’t see .500 again until a complete purge of the dolts that run the front office and the minor league system.
  14. With the right people in charge it can happen, in 1970 the Sox went 56-106, in 1971 they improved by 23 games and finished 79-83 and in 1972 they almost won the division finishing 87-67 in a season shortened by the players strike at the beginning of the season.
  15. Not close to Hall of Famer Aparicio, Looie was one of the best fielding shortstops in the history of the game and also had tons of stolen bases, Anderson couldn’t touch Aparicio’s glove.
  16. Hiring Grifol was a huge mistake, the franchise in the last 15 or so years has been infested with a losing culture and we hire a guy from an organization that is worse than the White Sox.
  17. They needed someone to replace Remillard in Charlotte, another career minor leaguer.
  18. IMHO Teddy Ballgame was the best ever.
  19. The Sox will always be #1 in my heart but I’ve adopted the Rays as my second favorite MLB team, not just recently, probably around 20 years now. Same with the TB Lightning, never miss a game on TV but I still love the Blackhawks. As far as the Bears, Bulls and of course the Cubs, no interest at all except I pull extremely hard for teams that are playing the Flubs with one exception, when they play the Red Sox, I despise all Boston teams and 99% of their fans.
  20. Excellent post. I have no problem with fans voicing their displeasure with certain players on the Sox but as far as me personally while watching some really bad Sox players down through the years I can honestly say I never booed one, it just isn’t in my makeup as I guess I love the franchise too much. Of course as I haven’t lived in Chicago for 30 years now the circumstances have probably changed with some of the things I’ve see this year. Now if I happened to see JR pop up on the field before a game, that would be a different story, there would be no problem showing my displeasure with that jerk.
  21. Anderson a few years ago volunteered to play the outfield, OK by me but who plays shortstop?
  22. If BN is right I wonder if Kenny Williams is still thinking that the Sox are going to win the division.
  23. Agree, it’s horrible that we have such a hard time developing players. This whole organization is in shambles and won’t be fixed until Reinsdorf is gone one way or the other.
