They just stopped hitting in the playoffs. Josh Lowe is becoming a MLB player, someone worked with Taylor Walls on his swing in the off season and he’s not any easy out anymore. Brandon Lowe and Wander Franco are both healthy. Every position player on the roster is a Major Leaguer unlike the Sox who are loaded with AAA players. -

One thing about the Rays and Sox through the years, regardless of where they are in the standings, the games are always grinders with hardly ever a blowout. -

I’m guessing Diaz has a heat exhaustion problem, not hydrating enough? I’ve experienced it while playing golf in the hot Florida summers, not fun. -

I wonder how many more seats the Rays could have sold today but they made a decision to not sell seats in the upper deck a few seasons ago. The official capacity of the Trop is now 25,000 and some change as the Rays thought that only selling seats in the lower level and club level would make the Trop a more intimate setting. -

Does Eloy think it’s really cool to wear your hat like someone who belongs to a gang? At least he remembered how to hit home runs. -
Yep, the Blackhawks of the 1960’s were really something special, original 6 Hockey at its best, the rivalries were intense, we fans knew every player in league as there were no helmets or masks. Every game was like a playoff game. Blackhawk tickets were like gold but somehow someway we always found a way to get in to a game at the Madhouse on Madison. In 1963 and 64 while still in high school my best buddy and I bought season tickets for the last 7 games of the regular season that insured us playoff tickets of course at 1.5 times the price of regular season games. We always had dates on Friday night as Saturdays nights were reserved for Hawk games on WGN, most of the time from Montreal or Toronto.

Exactly, so typical, what a clown show. -
Right on all counts plus they had great pitching and defense, they also had the best Sox manager of all time in Al Lopez but he made a big mistake in not giving giving Billy Pierce a start in the Series, I know he didn’t want to start a lefty in the Coliseum with the short left field which was only 250 feet down the line, game 2 at Comiskey should have been Billy’s start then Shaw in game 3 in LA, Wynn again in game 4, Donovan in game 5, Shaw or Pierce in game 6 back at Comiskey and Wynn for game 7.

Still my favorite Sox team even though they didn’t win the World Series like 2005 but these were my boyhood heroes and of course Nellie Fox was my favorite, I cried the day he died at the young age of 47 and again when he finally made it into the Hall of Fame. I was very fortunate to attend game 2 of the World Series at the young age of 13.
