  1. Hopefully Elko has figured things out while in Charlotte, we need some power bats in the lineup.
  2. Tauchman should be the only vet in the lineup. No need for both Taylor and Slater on the roster.
  3. Bring Elko back up, I’d like to see an occasional homer.
  4. These guys are as flat as we’ve seen in awhile. Nothing but pop ups and weak fly balls.
  5. Home Run Derby tonight, no cheap shots. Bad luck coming home and facing the hottest team in MLB.
  6. I wish him well also, I kept waiting for him to bust out and have a monster season but instead he regressed every year.
  7. A 3-3 road trip would have been nice and it should have happened except we blew the second game in LA.
  8. Not sure, I'm fine with Vargas at first with trying Sosa at 3rd.
  9. We could have used him in the playoff years instead of sticking Vaughn and Sheets out in RF.
  10. Noda has been a complete bust, let’s go with Sosa at third and Vargas at first the rest of the season, the coaches will have to do some intense work with Sosa but the Rays Junior Caminerro was pretty bad early this year but has worked like a dog and is now doing a super job at third while hitting the crap out of the ball.
  11. I agree, it’s hopeless thinking Robert will figure things out, he’s not as bad as TA but close.
  12. Saw a game there in 1978, it’s overrated and cramped with horrible sight lines down the right field line. They have really ruined it with all the advertising, for decades the only sign in the place was for the local Jimmy Fund. Back in the day both Fenway and Wrigley were each just another ballpark. The first guy I remember gushing over Fenway was Red Sox announcer Curt Gowdy who did the 1967 World Series on TV calling it Pinball Baseball, why people rave over Fenway and Wrigley now is because they’re old and represent a different era, neither come close to PNC Park which IMO is the best ballpark in MLB with Oriole Park a close second.
