Horrible loss but the kids in the lineup will not let this defeat bother them and will bounce back but the bullpen has been horrible the last 2 games almost blowing Monday’s game and the horrible meltdown last night.

I agree, Meidroth has to be the second baseman and Sosa has to play the rest of the way at first, work with Sosa as much as possible.

They need to work on cutting down on his swing especially with 2 strikes, Vargas too. There’s a fine line there as you want them to still be aggressive and not turn them into singles hitters.

I remember him like it was yesterday. Marvelous Marv Throneberry of the Mets from the same era was another one, he wasn’t as good of a hitter as Stuart but he was the face of those early days of the Mets, not because he was good but because he was bad and fit right with those horrible Mets. As Casey said; can’t anybody here play this game. The same thing could have been said of the 2024 White Sox.
