The Mighty Mite

We can’t get a break.

I thought about that, Venable making moves too early.

Teel and Meidroth struck out with the bat on their shoulders.

He needs to settle down. Now batting .188.

C’mon, break out of it.

Either a trade or they bring up Korey Lee as Quero is still struggling in Charlotte.

I think the Cleveland series mentally exhausted our guys.

No surprise.

NY will say safe.

Eventually they will come out of it but when.

This is why we miss Hays and Baldwin.

Dreaded lead off walk.

New York saw something else.

We have to beat this pitcher, hasn’t pitched in 2 years.

The guy hit a weak grounder but Kay didn’t make contact with the bag early enough.

For me there’s nothing worse in sports than a baseball team in a hitting slump. What’s amazing is that a whole team just stops hitting, you’d think someone would be clicking, well Attonacci has hit pretty well in this series so there’s one.

We need this one.

You are spot on. The thing is that the division is so bad it’s there for the taking but the reality is our pitching probably isn’t good enough.

Have we ever this year had the same lineup 2 games in a row? Seems like Venable is trying to prove he’s the smartest guy in the room but he’s yet to make the case.

Unforced error by Acuna.

Colson looks disinterested.

He doesn’t have a plan at the plate, maybe he should take a pitch or two.

I haven’t been a fan since he was signed but here’s the thing, have they played well because of him or in spite of him.

You can’t hit, you can’t pitch, you can’t win.

Deja Vu from last night.
