The Mighty Mite

So basically Getz is making out the lineups? I haven’t heard that but if true that’s not good.

There’s always a chance that could happen early in the game and you wind up wasting a position player. I hope Getz is taking notes on Venable’s strange lineups.

This lineup sucks, Peters has a night of a lifetime and is sitting on the bench with Perez in CF who can’t hit a lick, Sometimes I think Venable is a dunce and the Sox are winning in spite of him.

So if the Sox take Roch and because of college he is just about ready for the Majors and is with the big club by 2028, where does he play with Colson at SS?

This trade stinks.

The Cycle for Peters!!!

There’s my 2 runs.

I’d feel more comfortable with 2 more runs.

Nice job.

Needed the DP and we got it.

Don’t let them back in the game.

We’ll cut him some slack.

Sudden Sam!

You gotta love Peters.

He’s our old pro.

Our first lead since Sunday.

Let’s get some runs for Burke.

Very nice 1st inning by Burke.

Agree on Perez.

Agree, don’t trade Grichuk, we need him as a platoon DH with Beni.

Besides needing help in the starting rotation, the team needs a righty power hitting left fielder, I have no idea how we get these pieces to the puzzle as we would have to trade probably one of our core players and I’m not sure we have what it takes in the minors. I would hate not to do anything as we are in this race. Pereira might fit the bill as the power guy in LF as Grichuk isn’t the answer but who knows when Pereia will be back. First things first, we need to win this series with the As and hopefully a sweep.

If the money is available a retractable roof is the way to go, the White Sox have had notoriously low crowds down through the years with cold weather in April and May. Look how well the Brewers draw with the smallest metro area in MLB.

Carlson? Did you mean Colson?

Basically we are between a rock and a hard place because the division in a very unusual year is there for the taking. If we don’t do anything and say Cleveland wins the division with 83 or 84 wins and we wind up with 81 wins will we all be going nuts as to why Getz didn’t do anything at the deadline. In a normal year and with our record of 2 games over .500 and probably being 10 games out, I would stand pat and figure out who is for real. We definitely have question marks with the starting pitching, lack of a right handed power hitter to add to Vargas’ power and concern about the catching situation, Teel so far hasn’t reminded me of Carlton Fisk and Quero is still struggling down on the farm. It will be interesting to see what Getz does with one thing he has to remember, will Mune still be with us after 2027.

How many have the BoSox robbed us today with great catches.
