5/11 Sox-Marlins (Happy Mother’s Day)
Sosa with no plate discipline, a swing up by his eyes.

5/11 Sox-Marlins (Happy Mother’s Day)
Sosa gets the OK on a 3-0 count, swings at ball 4 and pops it up. Our hitters are not only bad, they’re dumb too.

5/10 Sox vs. Marlins 6:10PM CT
I guess that’s why he brought back a brain dead TLR 2022.

5/10 Sox vs. Marlins 6:10PM CT
Actually not, I think he did a good job last year but yeah I would have been happier with a veteran manager.

I still think they should have given the job to Sizemore, I’m tired of rookie managers.

I agree, Leisure was dealing and Veneble decided to go the safe route, huge mistake and I’m not saying this after the fact

Sox claim RHP Yoendrys Gómez; release Greg Jones
When will this nonsense end and we get some real Major League players.

Terrible AB.

That was pathetic. I think they have quit as a team, just going through the motions.

Soxtalk mourns the passing of our beloved friend Alex (Heads)
I haven’t been posting here that long and I can’t remember Heads but so sad he is no longer with us, may he rest in peace.

If the contact play wasn’t on then AV I’m starting to believe is just a dumb player, why on earth would he be running on that grounder? For that reason they should bring Elko up and send Vaughn down to Charlotte if possible. Maybe he’s also lazy like mentioned the other day, has anyone seen him trying something different, he’s regressed every year.

Chet Lemon RIP
So sad to pass that way and not that old. May he rest in peace.

Well, if there is no fan base, the city and state won’t build you a stadium, what would you do.

Getz is horrible but it’s the owner who is the real culprit, he is allowing the fan base to continue to dwindle with loss after loss, I have my thoughts of why and will leave it at that.

Stone said it was pre-determined like that makes it OK, what a bunch of bull feathers.

Way to go you fucking losers.

I’m old school and no matter what anyone says, the contact play is horrible and bad baseball made even worse when you have a slow boat like AV on third.

We have hope, we got The Pope!
Maybe he has some pull in bringing the Football Cardinals back to Chicago.

We have hope, we got The Pope!
Someone on one of the National news shows said he’s a Cub fan.

May 7 Game Thread
I always liked Aranda, never got much playing time but now that he’s a regular he’s producing, I’d take him over Vaughn in a heartbeat.

Could the Sox rebrand as lovable losers?
There are bunches of golf courses in the area, maybe they could give a course owner an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Somewhere near Oakbrook would be my first choice, that is just about smack dab in the middle of the Metro area, I always thought that the Addison location was good but that’s dead. I don’t have anything against the South Loop but the 78 isn’t a great spot, Roosevelt road is raised at the 78 so that’s a problem. Not a lot of good traffic patterns to the south and not that much room for parking. Fans I believe would have to rely on public transportation getting there, of course that hasn’t hurt the Cubs except Wrigley is in a neighborhood where thousands and thousands of fans can walk to Cub games. The area around the United Center is a possibility, JR has bought tons of land around there, why? The Hawks and Bulls going back to the good old days of Chicago Stadium never had problems with attendance there and it was horrible neighborhood at one time.
