Great show from the three bands I cared to see. One Band that sucked and one band that never showed up.
The opening band This Day Forward sucked, the lead singer hid underneath the curtains to sing one of there songs, should have stayed there...
The second band was supposed to be Throwdown, but they "showed up late", what ever the hell that means, which caused a 40 MINUTE wait between the first and third(now second) band. My feet we're killing me after stnding around that long
Next up was Avenged Sevenfold. Haven't been listening to their album that much, but after this kick ass performence, I will be now. The crowd was very into them. Old School Heavy Metal
Before Shadows Fall came out a guy from Peta began talking about how animals get abused to make chicken mcnuggets and hamburgers, when the food was mentioned everybody cheered, and I was cracking up. He left, and Shadows Fall came on stage and f***ed s*** up, even though the lead singers voice was almost shot. He still screamed out all the lyrics, and I couldn't even tell his voice was going on him. Only in between songs when he was just talking could you tell it was going out on him.
Finally the lasy band of the night Poison the Well. Wow! They had so much energy on stage, and it didn't let out until the set was over. I was so impressed by Jeff, the singers, ability to hit every note he sang almost perfectly as it is on the album, and scream like a mofo too.
All in all a great show sans the 40 minute wait
Next up Headbangers Ball Tour w/ Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, and Lamb of God
