I would ban Lord of the Flies, mainly cause it bored the hell out of me, but theres some good stuff that I read in HS in there Of Mice and Men The Catcher in the Rye There's definately some books on that list that make you go "Whaaaaaaaaaa?" Like James and the Giant Peach, I read that in like 4th grade, and the Waldo, and Goosebumps stuff There's also a bunch of books I never liked but had to read in High School there: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (I'm sure that the god awful teach I had that year didn't help) Man why are there so many books on that list that I had read throughout all my school years? That seems so strange
  3. I agree the most important priority this off-season beside canning JM is keeping the big four together. Pitching wins. As the A's have proven, a patch work offense can keep you in the division, not that I'm saying the Sox are as good as the A's, look at the type seasons they got out of guys like Scott Hatteberg, John Mabry, Adam Piatt etc. for just one or two seasons. They have a bunch of guys that'll hit .260-.270, with 15-20 HR's, and great pitching
  4. "His Style Works For The Sox" in what f***ing way Mark?

Movie of the Year. Great perfomences by Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson, Oscar worthy by Murray for sure. He isn't a screen hog, it subtle, funny, and brilliant. I highly reccomend it.

  23. Well Aaron hasn't proved he can hit either. Assuming the Sox keep Konerko and Maggs, The Sox are set with some good hitters at the corners in Crede, Lee, Konerko, and Maggs. Up the middle they are really weak. Question Marks a C, 2B, SS, and CF. A guy I'd really like to see, even though his availability is questionable, and his numbers are probably a little inflated is Preston Wilson, a nice solid centerfielder. I also like the Derek Lee idea
