well... Abreu has not been himself at all. This is ONE of the reasons we are one of the worst teams in the majors as of late. However there are many other issues. Abreu didn't lose the KC series...

Hard for me to blame Ventura for despicable performance of this team lately... But over 4 years Ventura has proven that he can't be division opponents. No reason for him to be still leading this team... none.

this team just looks so bad right now.... From top to bottom really really bad.

It still pretty rare.... and every situation is different of course. But any problems I have with Ventura... this particular one isn't high on my list. I didn't really agree with it and it failed to work. But yeah not high on my list.

Have you seriously seen other teams bunt with their clean-up hitters? I think it's kind of been overblown...but I just can't remember ever seeing that.

The problem with bunting was also that Frazier is not "contact" hitter. When he hits it... it goes forever... but yeah.
