It still pretty rare.... and every situation is different of course. But any problems I have with Ventura... this particular one isn't high on my list. I didn't really agree with it and it failed to work. But yeah not high on my list.

Have you seriously seen other teams bunt with their clean-up hitters? I think it's kind of been overblown...but I just can't remember ever seeing that.

The problem with bunting was also that Frazier is not "contact" hitter. When he hits it... it goes forever... but yeah.

Todd has some pop thats for sure...it looks like he barely swings and the ball just jumps.

So many of his decisions are so amazingly dense that they defy explanation.
