  1. yeah.. it just made me think of it... his hip was gone before he reached the base. But then you see him on one leg hoping into the base... he could have blew his knee out on top of it.
  2. I dont think jimenez career is threatened by injury - Roberts maybe... but even that is specultion.
  3. what are you talking about lol? Are you trying to sell us that having muscle and being in shape is bad for you?
  4. I was arguing with my dad about this last year - and this injury to Robert made me think about it again - eventhough its not directly the cause. The concept of "bases" needs to be changed and adjusted - I know major league baseball is already increasing the size of bases, but i feel like with faster and bigger players you are going to see more injuries from running to 1st base. Running full speed at a 3 dimensional object that is portruding from the ground.. yeah its not very high and soft.. but still. Think about that in basketball or football and how if there was a piece of turf portruding or something on the court, its highly dangerous, Yet in baseball its a purposeful part of the game. Maybe im crazy but seems like something that could be fixed somewhat easily.
  5. Sounds like its kind of in the air.. it depends where the tear is.. how it heals ect ect.
  6. yeah hoping for the best... but when he had to be carried off the field... and couldn't put any pressure on his leg at all....
  7. i knew he had no chance when a whiffed on a hanging change up over the middle of the plate.
  8. evidently if you heard stone.. Stanton had same injury today.
  9. he is running and his right leg buckles... and then he cant use it anymore... dunno
  10. You really want to go there Tray lol? about other countries and their moral high regard for the treatment of human life? I'd be willing to be some of those same countries you find endearing have some of the worst overall human rights issues in the world... nothing against elderly people... but most people are long retired by age 76 - let alone in one of the most high pressure jobs in the world. That's not even me saying Tony's problem is his age....but to act like that suggestion is beyond reason is silly. If we won the series - make no mistake it would be the oldest coach in the history of professional sports to do so.. by a pretty good margin.
  11. nah bro.. he doesn't have a fucking clue. We could win anyway despite... but its not shortsighted over overblown.
  12. Eaton needs a day or two off... he in a horrible slump
  13. "should win?" that's not realistic Can win? yeah being at home with a decent pitcher... and that Cleveland's offense isnt great... id guess 50/50 was the game probablity before it started.
  14. people crying much too hard after this game... They had their Ace on the mound and one of the best pitchers in all of baseball. It was always a likely loss... we gave it a chance at least... moving on.
  15. Greydawg let me introduce you to Jose Abreu... he has a tendency in the past to make many people post similar things that you have... but in the end such posters end up looking like complete fucking idiots. many have come before... and more will come after.
  16. yeah we really overrated our bullpen... that is clear.
  17. for some reason they just have trouble seeing fast ball vs breaking stuff... its strange because he doesn't throw that hard...
  18. dallas has had control problems a lot this year.. its funny we have the best starting pitching era and our two top guys haven't been very good.
