hopefully the varsity shows up tonight... feels like I've been watching JV high school baseball.

well its early... but 2 out of 3 games with bad defense and overall bad baseball give the other team the win. So far not good... but yeah its really early.

i thought he made the right decision to pull giolito... pitching marshall over bummer was a fail tonight... so mixed bag so far.

oh one thing i learned from last year... we still need robot umpires... typical shitty important missed balls and strikes per usual.

yeah game in a baseball season isn't that meaningful... but madrigal's defense was an issue last year. So its not really an overreaction.... until we see different it's what we know.

he is young and there is plenty of time.. but so far nick madrigal appears to lack anything it takes to produce winning baseball. he has no power,.... he is small and slow... and then the worse thing is - to this point his defense is a liablity. i mean seriously what the fuck?

he should be the guy that DH;s the most. like 70% of the time... he can play left the other 30% when grandal or jose or whoever needs a break.

he will continue to play left field and continue to get injured.

when i saw the injury happen i was worried he tore his pec... and there it is... sigh. But yeah no more outfield for him please.

It was a blast... until the last two weeks. They have been pretty painful. Just being honest.

yeah our pitcher starting this game is debatably a minor league pitcher. We were kind of fucked once keuchel shit the bed. That being said we walked the game away - with a bullpen that had been good al year and quite frankly choked in a moment that was too big for them.

God we can dream he doesn't come back.. it wasn't this year that most of us realized how bad he is. We gave known this the entire time.
