I blame them all. Just because you shouldn’t be in the position in the organization that you are in (GM, Manager, etc) doesn’t automatically absolve you of any blame.

Flexen still has 2 years of control left. He very well can be moved this offseason or next year. For the price, he was fine. Not like they gave him a significant amount. Maldy was paid almost 3 times more.
He was cheap and ate innings. And under control for 2 years. I don’t think it’s a failed signing at all.
Much better signing than Clevinger, who never really ate innings in his career.
