Yeah, they kinda don’t need both Slater and Taylor. I guess you can DH Benintendi against lefties and play Slater in LF (depending on how the rest of the team looks). I know the platoon is in RF to start but that can change.

His splits are pretty close to even. He doesn’t really need to be in a platoon. Or I should at least say he’s not bad against lefties.

If he has control next offseason, Kyle Tucker. I don’t think he gets full control this calendar year though. I’d guess next year by end of 2026 at earliest.

Idk it's VERY hard to be worse than Jerry. We've been to the playoffs like three times in the last 20 years and are coming off a historically awful season. At worst, it stays the same but we get a cool stadium out of it.

Yeah I think it will be longer than some are hoping for. It isn't going to be that instant. However, I think it could be by end of 2026 whenever the agreement ends with the MLBPA (I'm pretty sure the last one expired in December). Ishbia is only 47 so he could wait a few years.

I'll take my chances over the current owner who already doesn't "spend so much money on great players."

He's a reliever in that "around 30, no track record" group I kept saying they could DFA and no one should bat an eye. He's just a guy.
