You can bet the Moneyline on a team and if they go up 2, you win your bet whether the team you bet on wins or loses. Figured Sox could maybe go up 2 and blow it at least haha it's a good promo because you end up taking underdogs at pretty decent odds.

Picked the Sox for Up 2 promo on DK today so another HR here would be nice.

I think they're just using him as a backup since they are paying him. That's fine. He's not taking time away from anyone who could potentially be here long-term filling in rarely.

I agree and even said as much around the trade deadline. Yeah, he probably would have liked to have been a SP this whole time, but this scenario is pretty spectacular for him (if he stays healthy over next 2 years).

I meant with the launch of the channel being 10/1, the soft deadline for negotiations being talked about.

Not really, since NBC Sports is still available until the deadline.

I would be more concerned if the regular season is what started in a week.
