2025 Bold Predictions
Luis Robert has a great couple of months and is traded (potentially this year's Luis Arraez and traded early in season. Davis Martin pitches great. Represents team at the All Star game. Vargas has a surprisingly nice season. Teel comes up and has a good showing for a first call up. Sox trade Robert, Perez, B. Wilson, Murfee, one of the older lefties (Booser, Gilbert or both) and Tauchman. No one else. Clevinger pitches decent out of pen. Other teams continue to want nothing to do with him.

The next round of cuts
They may have sold high on a one year wonder though.
-
The Athletic Hope meter
No I wouldn't pass. The question is "would you decide to pass."
-
The Athletic Hope meter
No, because I would be a fan of a team who's ownership/front office is always trying to stay competitive. Which is the point people are apparently missing.
-
The next round of cuts
It was basically just roster filler.
-
The next round of cuts
Having guys on the 40-man that you can option is good.

DVS retiring...
What area in the Chicagoland area are you looking for?

DVS retiring...
What was your major specifically?

The Athletic Hope meter
Answer to question 1: yes Answer to question 2: no Edit: I should explain the answer for 2: longterm, yes. Short-term: no. There’s a way you can rebuild and still try to add at the MLB level without being embarrassing but I guess that falls more on the ownership's willingness to open the purse strings

The Athletic Hope meter
I'll watch them as I have the last 2 years: day games during work days where it is on in the background and when the wife isn't around and we aren't watching something else together.
