Non-Tender Day
Oh yeah, I agree. I listed about 8 or 9 guys earlier this week, including all of those guys, and did not mention Oscar.

Non-Tender Day
Addition by subtraction.

Non-Tender Day
Colas didn't get any shot with the MLB team in a year they lost 120+ games. I just don't think he's long for this roster.

Thank f***

Austin Slater Signed to MLB Deal
Yeah, I think you could.

Soxfest back for 2025
It doesn't look that bad but as someone who used to go when I was younger, I would be disappointed it's not somewhere downtown.

Non-Tender Day
Agreed. C) Lee (at least to open the year) 1B) Vargas 2B) Sosa 3B) Ramos SS) Baldwin (at least to open the year) LF) DeLoach CF) Robert RF) Fletcher DH) Benintendi We can "Hey, the Kids Can Play" our way into the #1 pick in 2026!

Non-Tender Day
That's why I want to either just get Vargas his at bats there (leave Ramos at 3B and play the mid/upper-20s year old OFs in the OF) or play Colas at 1B (he seems to be closer to a DFA candidate than MLB candidate at this point though).

Soxfest back for 2025
I'll take back part of what I said then. But still doesn't sound like the best location.

Should Sox pursue Carson Kelly
This is what they should have done and what everyone said at the time.

Non-Tender Day
I'm at the point where I am fine with this. Or just playing Vargas at 1B. At the very least, it would help secure our way to a top pick (or at least the best lottery odds).

Soxfest back for 2025
s%*# location lol I used to park over by that bar and park just south of there back in the day for free parking and used to walk past there. Didn't even know there was a theater there lol

Austin Slater Signed to MLB Deal
Idk having so many young guys that should be playing every day, I feel like any vet is a minor league deal fighting for a bench/bullpen role. Maybe a couple SP on minor league deals with the promise of making the club.

Austin Slater Signed to MLB Deal
I actually think this is their top free agent target overall, not just for this role. I think every other signing is a MiLB deal.

Should Sox pursue Carson Kelly
If that is the case than he should have just been called up in September.
-
Should Sox pursue Carson Kelly
Recent connection in Texas too (granted, Kelly wasn't there too long)

Should Sox pursue Carson Kelly
Quero could be a guy who takes over later but maybe Carson Kelly can play himself into a trade chip. Definitely an upgrade over Chuckie Robinson.

Montgomery story...
This. And if you’re afraid of him winning the award just call him up in like June or July.

That math ain't mathing.

.926 OPS in Spring Training is why he made it.

I'm good with Baldwin holding down the fort for a few weeks at SS to get that extra year of control personally.

I like him too if he were a second piece in a Crochet deal. 5 years of control and all the other reasons you mentioned.

After a second round exit and first round exit back to back years perhaps they will be. Mayo and Basallo are sort of blocked as well. Do they have any extra draft picks anywhere they can deal like they did for Burnes last off-season (this is why I wanted Cowser to win RoY)?

In Robert's 4 full seasons in the MLB, 2024 was the year he played the second most games (100 even), so a relatively healthy year for him. That's on you if you thought he would be a huge factor all season long. I will say this again, if not for Eloy and Yoan, people would get on him more about his health and injury history. He's lucky they were here to shield him. I won't miss him if/when they trade him.

Wait, Greg's not a Royals fan?
