  1. Yeah as of now with the guys here, I would go with: LF: DeLoach CF: Robert RF: Fletcher DH: Benintendi Then gives guys some ABs in the DH spot here and there and let Benintendi play the OF. So again, for me, it would depend on if they did move Robert or AB.
  2. He's a guy I think could get a starting gig somewhere so unless you're making him the starter in RF, I don't think he would sign here. I would also play many of the mid-20 year olds we already have here (some that we traded for) to see what we have. Edit: guess it also depends on how it shakes out possibly moving Benintendi and Robert.
  3. Teams could get 2 outs on one pitch! IBB to Soto then first pitch double play. In all seriousness though, the guy knows the zone so well that he would probably walk at least 200 times.
  4. If it’s 2 top MLB prospects and Bohm then sure.
  5. He does nothing for the Sox with 2 years of control.
  6. Right now, I think I would. They absolutely should ask for the moon. Having said that, Robert will be the starting CF on the Sox on opening day.
  7. I can think of one: he’s terrible.
  8. I will say, I'm really shocked you haven't been pounding your fists for Madrigal reunion.
  9. What is a new hitting coach going to say that an old one didn't say about this exact situation other than "layoff the garbage."
  10. Agreed here. No one is going to give them what they want.
  11. "How Long Until Chris Getz Real?" A truly missed opportunity.
  12. Dude just played the second most games in a season of his career at 100 games. It’s not “if he gets hurt” it’s a matter of “when.”
  13. He really does need other hobbies
  14. Ah well we should still have plenty of disfunction.
  15. Unless they pivot on their asking price, Robert will be with the Sox next year. Hope I’m wrong and they get a haul though.
  16. Sox would probably have to send money to balance it out.
  17. Well yeah, the Sox called up Rodon the year after he was drafted and the Cubs called Bryant up 2 years after he was drafted. Of course Boras loves that.
  18. Crazy to see the most of that core being DFA’d (Madrigal), options getting declined (Moncada, Eloy), or just already out of baseball (TA) like 4 years later. Robert could be another down/injury plagued season away from joining them.
  19. Don’t underestimate they’re stupidity and JR’s cheapness.
  20. It’s all good. Fans are more wrong than right.
  21. I’ll bite. You still say for Robert or as a buy low guy in a different trade.
  22. Dude would be our best 2B since…..I can’t remember its been that bad.
  23. And if you need room post-Crochet deal/other possible MLB signings.
