  1. Looking at his splits in his career (and the last 2 years for recency), he actually doesn't look the guy who we be platooned in the OF.
  2. Going to re-air soon if you need to watch it.
  3. Agreed and I would have guessed 3/60 for Walker.
  4. Yeah, when reading that, I thought the Profar and Walker numbers were a bit low but even if they were higher, it can still work. Walker, I feel like is looking at a 3 year, high AAV deal. Profar might get another year and a little higher AAV.
  5. Yeah, I don't expect it to happen. I think when he gets traded it's somewhere between their current asking price and getting fleeced. Like maybe one blue chip prospect and a couple lesser prospects.
  6. Tauchman actually looks like a decent leadoff option. Hopefully he has a best career half of baseball and some injuries on other teams lead to him getting traded for something decent. Or packaged with a reliever. Whatever.
  7. Trade Robert for a (hopeful) haul, trade Benintendi for Walker, sign Kepler. LF: Dominic Fletcher CF: Zach DeLoach (or whoever the f*** makes sense in CF out of him and Fletch. Looks like DeLoach played a lot of CF in AAA last year) RF: Max Kepler/Mike Tauchman DH: Mike Tauchman/Max Kepler Edit: Looking for a stop gap CF in free agency is....daunting
  8. Getz is on MLBN right now FWIW
  9. Yeah, that's the thing too. Guy seems good in the corners but definitely not a CF it seems. I guess it doesn't really matter in a lost year but you still want some defense out there for your pitchers you want to make look good.
  10. This won't be official until after the Rule 5 Draft, right? I still want them to grab an arm and a bat to plug at DH. Currently 2 open spots left.
  11. Yeah, really no point of any of us watching it.
  12. I would have preferred signing a guy like Max Kepler on a rebound type of deal. At least that could have some upside. I get you need to fill a roster but collecting guys you can possibly trade for something interesting later should be the priority. Not a guy like Tauchmann. Whatever. It is what it is I guess. No creativity no imagination.
  13. Think it is already in the right order. Maybe switch Mets and Cubs.
  14. He checks the box for “local area product” role
  15. There was that Walker for Benintendi rumor floated this weekend (don’t remember if it was from a credible source) but if that was possible as a 1-for-1 swap with no money changing hands I would do it.
  16. I don't really love the Yankees or Mets as a fit. Edit: sorry, for Crochet.
  17. Gives you guys to trade later too. But we specialize in the no risk, no reward guys. The very bottom of the barrel.
  18. There’s no reason why they can’t try to overpay a couple guys on one, two year deals to try to flip in the summer over signing a guy line Tauchman who accomplishes nothing.
  19. I get the Slater one as weak side platoon but signing a strong side platoon guy for sure seems odd unless both Benintendi and possibly Robert are going. Because I would for sure just rather run out Fletcher or DeLoach, guys you actually gave up something to get.
  20. Fletcher is 27, DeLoach is 26 and Colas is 26. If not now then never.
  21. The Getz special: no risk no reward edit: he was ok last year but don’t really see him being moved for anything relevant in the summer
  22. Teams that missed out are pivoting and negotiating with their plan b
  23. That’s fair but I don’t want those guys.
