I want to move on from both of those guys as well. I just don't know who I would sign to play 1B. Josh Bell maybe to a 2-year deal or 1 year with an option? I don't know. Christian Walker is a free agent after this year as well and 34, so maybe you can overpay him a bit on a short-term, 2-3 year deal and look to trade him in the summer.

I think you can put Senzel on the bench and see if he can stick as a platoon type player since he is versatile. I'm just not giving him majority of the at bats. Plenty of guys he could platoon with (Sheets, Fletcher, DeLoach) if you shuffled guys around.

Well right now, Vargas (the center piece of the biggest trade chip you dealt) should be getting majority of the time at 3B, with Baldwin and Sosa at SS and 2B. That would open up more at bats somewhere for a Colas or DeLoach in the OF.
