  1. Found it in other Rule 5 thread: Blake Sabol
  2. Anyone else think we see an Addison Reed type deal happen at the Meetings? Hendriks dealt for a couple young MLB ready players that can contribute now/soon? (copied my post from other thread)
  3. Anyone else think we see an Addison Reed type deal happen at the Meetings? Hendriks dealt for a couple young MLB ready players that can contribute now/soon? Edit: wrong thread but f*** it.
  4. Just looking at Spotrac, it is absent in the 2023 payroll but the $5M figure is factored in 2022.
  5. Not bad use of the AJ Pollock money saved for 2023.
  6. Someone tossed out the name of a left-handed hitting C/corner OF last week but can’t remember his name. His minor league numbers looked solid.
  7. He’s with the Brewers. Edit: nvm. Read this as another name at first.
  8. They signed and traded for a 1B this off-season, though I guess Choi could be flipped or Santana/Choi can work as a platoon.
  9. Vaughn only has one more year of control over Reynolds.
  10. I’m open to them moving guys mid-season if they are under .500. Mostly just the rentals though or guy under contract another season.
  11. Yeah so many teams would be interested to the point where idk if the Sox can beat out offers for him. Not to the point where it’s worth it anyway.
  12. I would love to add one of the big SS now. But I doubt TA’s ego would allow a move to 2B.
  13. Yeah. It’s not really a great hitting position as is. Better off seeing if the off-season was good for him and rolling with Seby/Perez/depth signing. You can cut Grandal if he still looks toast.
  14. At the time it was signed it may not have looked like a bargain. But after seeing what guys are signing for this off-season so far, it certainly looks good.
  15. I would prefer they did not pour the limited resources they have into the catching position.
  16. Phillies have meetings setup to meet with the representatives of the top 4 free agent shortstops. Must be nice.
  17. Yeah, to move him it would have to feel like an overpay on the either team's end. I'd prefer to hold onto him and bank on him being motivated for a pay day after the season.
  18. Probably. I would rather just stay in-house.
  19. Oh I was referring to last year. There were about 7 deals I liked better than the Kelly deal heading into last season. Now, yeah that is likely going to be bad.
  20. Someone we should have signed last year for one year for less than Joe Kelly got. *sigh*
