I may be in the minority, but while I also want some the names mentioned here in a trade (MeNeil, Marte, Lux, etc), I'd be fine with them rolling out Leury/Romy/cheap veteran signing at 2B in the 9-spot IF it meant they went all in and signed Conforto to fill RF. There is no longer any big 2B worth signing (not a fan of the Story fit) and I'd rather keep our young players. Not filling RF AND 2B would be terrible.

Yeah that I'm not sure about. I was just referring to your initial comment about how most teams made it in anyway so it only counts for half credit. Nothing about the shortened season.

Under the regular rules, the Sox would have been the second Wild Card team in 2020. They only had a lower seed than the second place East and West teams because they finished third in their division.

Yeah that is true. They love their depth. NL getting a DH also opens up Turner to get at bats there and Lux or Taylor to get at bats at 3B.

Yeah, I think @Harold's Leg Lift has hinted about talks that included Kimbrel and Lux. I would assume there would be more pieces involved though like you suggest.
