TA will be a free agent at 32/33. Not crazy they keep him for an addition 3-4 years after to stay at SS or slide over to 2B eventually.

I feel like he hasn’t been moved yet because they are waiting on a decision from Conforto. Sign Conforto, then deal Kimbrel. If no Conforto, then keep Kimbrel. Not saying I agree as I want him gone but maybe this is possible?

A. Worry about extending the other 2 when their current deals are up and when Abreu is possibly gone (if anything, at least making less money), Yaz money off the books, relievers we signed gone, Keuchel gone, etc.

One of Eloy/Sheets/Vaughn/Abreu would get a day off any day he DHs. So if it happens to be a game against a tough lefty, Sheets sits for example.

Yeah I still think they could finish behind the other 3 teams to be honest. I do enjoy when random teams sign stars though. I like seeing the talent spread out (ok maybe not so much when it’s our division, but they’ll likely still suck anyway haha)
