If they don't want to sign Bauer and don't want to spend on anyone else, sign Folty to a minor league deal, sign a catcher to a minor league deal with a $1m salary if he makes the team, and then sign Brad Miller to an MLB deal.

I was pro-Pederson regardless if Eaton was here just for the depth and getting Eloy into the DH spot more often (obviously with Joc being primary DH against righties and then Eloy DH against lefties with Engel covering the OF).

I wouldn't mind bringing him back on a minor league deal personally, worth like $2 mill if he makes the team to find out. But I wouldn't count on him for much. Would want to sign another MLB arm + him for depth.

I do agree with this. If Crochet doesn't leave with an injury, he likely pitches 2+ innings, moving everyone else back and Rodon likely even takes the ball.
