What do you mean "get one right" in this kind of instance? He's saying Sox are interested. If Betances signs somewhere else, does that mean hes wrong that Sox were interested?

This doesn't really mean anything though. Also, catchers, being the leader on the field, make good coaches.

Pitching staffs are capped at 13 so the teams with 3 man benches won't be adding pitchers.

If Grandal is getting majority of his at bats between 1B/DH. then I would rather sign someone better for DH like JDM if he is available.

Ah yes, the Robin Ventura, never coached anywhere, route. The good news for them is it's not rocket science and there's always a chance he is good. I'd be too worried about guys not taking him that seriously though since they are friends with him.

Yeah he's definitely not near the top of my list but as a salary dump for one year, if they strike out on every other option, I'm good with Reddick.

I refer you to the free agent/trade list provided on the previous page. I'd take Avi over what we trotted out there in 2019 but he's definitely not my plan A, B, C or probably even H.
