  1. So I went on the second round of interviews, they all really seemed to like me, and I should hear back early next week as one of the people who interviewed me is on vacation this week. Sounds very promising. Edit: Just found the person who transitioned the inter-company process to me is going on medical leave sometime in July. Now I feel even worse about possibly leaving but oh well.
  2. Adolfo is out the rest of the year. Also looks like Basabe is out.
  3. This is kind of the problem. There is no one else. And you would like to give the player more of a sample size to see if they can adjust back.
  4. I don't believe they would either. Just pointing it out. Unfortunately, Jay seems to be the best option for RF right now since people are souring on Tilson and Cordell. Which is bizarre because this is what people have been wanting.
  5. Jay is solid against lefties so a platoon of Tilson against righties and Jay against lefties works.
  6. I would probably keep playing Tilson. I'm sure we will see some Jon Jay in RF soon.
  7. What happened to Leury yesterday? I watched the whole game but did I miss something when I went to the bathroom?
  8. And theres an easy solution: stick Collins at 1B so if there is an injury, you just shift him to catcher and have Rondon or whoever come off the bench to play 1B.
  9. Win today and it looks promising. I'm predicting a split.
  10. To follow up with this, I have a second round of interviews with the company tomorrow. Very encouraging.
  11. Every job I have had so far in my professional career has been laid back like that. Show up at 8, work until 4:30. Feel like sleeping in an extra hour one day, stay until 5:30.
  12. Yep. Hit him 7th and left him figure it out. Much better to watch him (probably) struggle than watch Alonso struggle.
  13. Figured this was a relevant thread to post this: Astros, Rockies Had Interest In Edwin Encarnacion. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/06/astros-rockies-had-interest-in-edwin-encarnacion.html
  14. They don't really match up well for a trade. I'm predicting he goes for a controllable starter in the next month and a half (assuming Stanton and Judge stay healthy when they come back) since they could use some pitching.
  15. He looks like a great trade chip if there are cost-controlled starters on the market in the next month and a half.
  16. What move did they make to clear room on the 40? Or did the Stephens move do that?
  17. Going to the game Wednesday so hopefully this is the case.
  18. Look at Colome's numbers. You know hes not 90th best reliever lol
  19. In the sense that middle relievers, long relievers, openers who throw in wins and losses are going to throw more than a closer who typically only throws one inning in save situations or when they haven't pitched in 3-4 games. Bigger sample of innings is what I'm saying.
  20. Eh not really for relievers. Pitchers who toss more effective innings will have a higher WAR right? That typically doesn't seem to be closers.
