  1. I noticed that as well. 2 starts where he gave up 7 and another with 8 skewed his ERA.
  2. Yeah it seems like a no brainer to me. A few starts/half a season this year when the team sucks or another full season later on when we are hopefully good?
  3. 1. According to an article I read after the movie, it seems like it was premidated to start the events. 2. I think Charlie was possessed by the demon that the cult worships (explaining why she is so creepy). I think the grandma put it inside her at a young age (the mother mentions early on in the movie that she had a brother that was crazy and said he would say that the mother would try to put people inside of him) and then the demon was transferred from her into the boy at the end. http://collider.com/hereditary-ending-explained/
  4. Just ask. There are a lot of people who love Star Wars but have zero interest in seeing this (I have friends that fall in that group) and anyone who would really want to see it has probably seen it by now. I think you are safe without the tags.
  5. I agree. It wasn't your typical Hollywood horror movie with jump scares every 5 minutes. And I totally get the comparison to "The Witch." The atmosphere was creepy throughout the movie.
  6. This team doesn't even have a 4th bench player haha currently it's an 8-man bullpen, backup catcher, Rondon, and whoever doesn't play out of Thompson, Engel, Tilson and Palka.
  7. He complains about the price of going to the ballpark, something he doesn't do lol
  8. Oh yeah forgot about Leury. So would he take the spot of a reliever to have a 4-man bench or replace Jose Rondon?
  9. So what will the lineup look like when he comes back? Something like: 1. Moncada 2B 2. Sanchez 3B 3. Abreu 1B 4. Palka LF 5. Garcia RF 6. Davidson DH 7. Narvaez C 8. Anderson SS 9. Engel/Tilson CF
  10. Oh yeah this game ended early. They only had one inning left anyway and the one team was being slaughtered anyway.
  11. Almost witnessed this in a Sunday baseball league in the game before ours earlier this year. Team was down 13-2 and they were talking shit to the other team. Pitcher (for the team that was losing) struck out a guy and yelled at him to sit down. Next guy hit a grounder back at the pitcher and he started chasing him down the line before throwing him out. The guy went up to the pitcher and benches cleared.
  12. Anyone else feel like his delivery sucks and is likely the problem? Maybe he should work on smoothing that out and maybe just switching to more of a Verlander type of delivery where its little effort.
  13. If he's going to come up in September, I hope he doesn't start the year on the MLB team next year. If you're going to call him up that late, you might as well wait until late April/May next year to get the extra year of control.
  14. When I watched, I had no idea they split the season to be released at different times. At the end of the last episode, I was so confused until one of my friends told me what they are doing. Hope its a good pay off at the end.
  15. Because Greg like to argue topics while ignoring/without understanding counter arguments. Example: "we should listen to offers for Abreu and only trade him for a great haul. Only another year of control, wrong side of 30, and keep adding to a great system. Great numbers. We should get some key pieces easily." Legit baseball reasons. Greg however: "I can't believe all of you want to trade Abreu. His numbers are great. I don't understand why everyone here hates him. My gawd." Completely ignoring key points and thinking everyone hates Abreu. This is every Greg argument.
  16. Not as eventful(/fun?) as last season. That's for sure.
  17. I agree 100%. I actually like Solo and Rogue One better than Episode 7 and 8 (especially 8).
  18. So when everyone is healthy, does it shake it like this: Palka LF, Engel CF, Avi RF? DFA Thompson and have Leury on the bench but I'm not quite sure what they would do with Delmonico (unless Delmonico and Palka shared LF and DH and Davidson slid into a platoon role.
  19. How a player will age is also an unknown. Current day Abreu = star. Mid/late-30's Abreu? Who knows (though, I'd bet on him hitting well still).
  20. Anyone else kind of meh about him coming back? I like seeing others play like Palka (possible move to left when Garcia is back?).
  21. Rodon has what, 3 more years until free agency? I kind of feel like signing an extension now would be dumb for him. He's better off gambling on himself for a year or so and then try to discuss an extension. Edit: also, I know you just tossed out a number, but I'm definitely not signing a guy to a 6 year, $90 mill ($15m a year) until he proves he can stay healthy. Both sides are better off waiting until there is some sort of track record of health before signing an extension.
