Yes, but maybe carry an older one that can act as a mentor to the younger guys and as a veteran presence to the rest of the team. It’s a spot that will barely play. That or one that is flexible and can play other positions as well. I know there aren’t a ton of those guys but they exist.

So is Shane Smith in the Crochet plan? Asking as someone who needs to make a move in fantasy and he would be an obvious drop for Snell and Cortes coming back.

Yeah it’s fine. Not a bad player either. But if you’re going to keep him with an OF of Benintendi, Robert (assuming not traded in offseason, and him to go with the kids in the IF, commit and get a starter or two, some relievers, and a power bat.
