....................your car being one of them? And what does the year have anything to do with it.

No worse feeling than waiting on a FedEx and knowing it got swiped by porch pirates
  3. It's odd, multiple people, including myself have asked for your specific offseason plan since you've been heavily critical of basically everything....yet you haven't responded with specifics.
  4. Can you get a little more specific on what you would do if you were Hahn this offseason? I'm genuinely curious. Who are players you would target for the ML roster? Who are you trading? What does your lineup look like?
  5. Lol, are you new here?
  6. I totally agree. What is Rick going to say when asked about Kimbrel? "We picked up his option only to trade him. He was TERRIBLE for us but we are really hopeful someone will take him off our hands, otherwise it really screws up our off-season plans." This is all Rick just trying to pretend the Sox might actually keep him, but there is just no way that's the plan. Rick could have 100% overplayed his hand and there aren't any takers for him, but I believe with almost certainty Rick feels like he can trade him without much problem.

I feel like the cell service is noticeably slow this morning because I assume everyone is on it.

    This Comcast outage blows…
  9. He’s gotten them to back to back playoffs for the first time in franchise history and they are the absolute favorite in 2022 in the AL Central…I mean come on, lol
  10. My god that was impressive
  11. I mean, Rick has had a bumpy few years, but have you watched any Sox baseball the last few years? MLB has the Sox No. 2 in the Power Rankings at the moment. Does that mean anything? Not really....but to act like things have just been a disaster is straight embarrassing from you.
  12. I agree with you on Scherzer. And I also agree on Conforto feeling like a Sox move, which scares me. Who was the last FA the Sox signed that got better when they came here? Dye?
  13. Very solid post mags. You make a good argument for Conforto….just worries me as the big swing this offseason (because I have to imagine that’s their big swing if they sign Conforto)
  14. Fair enough. I disagree but I get it where you’re coming from. Just don’t like the fit. Think we’d be very disappointed with the fit, and that could turn into a bad contract quick if it doesn’t work out.
  15. How much is Conforto going to help that defense? Is Conforto worth 18+ million more than Vaughn/Sheets?
  16. He's an absolute snake oil salesman.
  17. I don't like the Conforto fit. He turned down the QO. Yes, he could have misread the market, but right now Boras is working with much more information than I am and think he can get a long-term deal. The Sox seem like they will spend but we all agree it probably won't reach the levels we'd all like them to reach. So with that in mind, what are they getting with Conforto? - Mediocre to average defense in RF - Coming off a very disappointing 2021, which was his contract year - Will be 29 when the season starts - How many offensive free agents have come to the Sox and gotten significantly better upon arrival? With Rodon seemingly out of the picture.....spend the money on another starter. Make this rotation scary with something like Scherzer-Gio-Lynn-Kopech-Cease. Go out and trade some assets for a 2B, and run with Vaugh/Sheets in RF.
  18. So did anyone see Eternals this weekend? First MCU movie in a while I'll wait until home release
  19. So to be clear here...You're either much smarter than the White Sox, or......they have a reason for not extending the qualifying offer and seem perfectly fine being done with Rodon. You believe the Sox are being cheap, and it has nothing to do with their faith in Rodon performing in the future at a level they are comfortable with. Do I have that right?
  20. I feel better about the Sox direction already. Thanks Balta!
  21. There is a very real chance the Sox have a bad offseason. Could very easily see it happening. But the early “moves” thus far really don’t tell us anything. I really think it has to do with social media in general. The longer it stays around, the dumber and more impatient we get. Every small piece of news is the biggest thing ever.
  22. Because this is the team the Sox are taking on Spring Training? On November 7th? Why do so many here just toss out all logic and thought when one move happens? It’s like this is the first time anyone has ever gone through an offseason before.
