  1. First Glanville, now Palmeiro. If they can't land Raffy, what are the chances that the sCrUBS ask Arizona about Gracie ?
  2. Sure. I'm game where beers available
  3. I plan on going on Friday the 8th

The pitcher of a team that is already losing ? Just admit that your comment is stupid and move on.
  5. And you never will
  6. CubKilla replied to Soxplosion's topic in Pale Hose Talk
    Yeah..... no s***
  7. "The Juice" After that web gem of R Alomar's last night, we need to come up with a nickname for him

It went from web gem to GS just like that
  9. But I like how the mouth opening seems capable of still supplying the wearer with beer from a plastic cup
  10. I cursed one time on Sunday..... Kids Day ..... and I had the wrath of 100 ushers befall me. Too bad they weren't on Ligue or Dybas that quick!

It happens like that..... sometimes. But for most, it's a classic Jeckyl and Hyde study in the batterers behavior. The change usually occurs after marriage.
  12. Sorry. In a big series, I'll take Paulie at first over Frank at first any day.
  13. Lee Elia is who you're thinking about.
  14. Frank is this team's DH. Sox fans (and Frank) need to get used to that fact.

In response to your first sentence..... find a cop that is going to do all of the paperwork involved in a Domestic Battery arrest when there is absolutely no physical evidence visible on the victim and I'll give you $100 because NO COP is going to arrest anybody simply because of a shouting match. In response to your second statement..... most battered women STAY with the accused batterer for a variety of reasons..... some of them include, but are not limited to..... economic, family, fear, insecurity, and self-effacing reasons. I suggest you do some of the research you're telling alot of the posters to do because you obviously don't have clue 1 about what you are talking about when it comes to Domestic Battery. Cubkilla i respect you a lot. I hope you are not suggesting the reasons those women stay with those men are valid? Unfortunately, they are extremely valid and there alot more. Dealing with a battered woman..... or man for that matter..... is perhaps one of the most trying situations for law enforcement and the courts because most think it's easy to dump a batterer. I suggest Clu go and talk to a battered wife with an alcoholic husband, with 4 kids, no job, none of her own money, and no job skills other than making her abusive husband 3 meals a day, no family within 8 hours drive time, and the emotional stress of being told everyday that if she doesn't shape up, "I'll kill you and those kids", and ask her how easy it would be to leave her abusive husband. Sit in Domestic Violence Court one day. See how "wonderful" alot of the world is. And make no mistake about it. Men and women arrested for Domestic Battery are batterers and they will do it again. Whether or not it will be reported to the police after the first arrest is anybody's guess.

Better than getting corn-holed by an insane prison guard

Rick Fox did a few episodes of HBO's "Oz" too. He was killed by an insane prison guard in the series finale.

No. I agree with you. Tony is best used off the bench and/or sporadically. I agree with those that say TG should play against LH pitchers unless Jose just gives up batting RH totally. We rip on Jose batting RH and he has 2 HR's from the right side of the plate in less than 2 weeks But..... I know exactly where you all are coming from.
  20. Last years failed Erstad for Garland and a few prospects deal ?
  21. Exactly. Let Cotts learn control in the minors. Not against the best team in the AL right now. While I'm not a fan of Danny Wright, he has had some success in Seattle.
  22. Me and Guido will probably definitely be there both Monday and Tuesday
  23. I think the fans, the White Sox, and the media will be pleasantly surprised come Monday if the Sox maintain this pace. Tomorrow's game against KC is big but how this team does against the best team in the AL this weekend is HUGE!
