Everybody that supports the President, the troops, and the War on Terrorism has been compared to a drooling, mongoloid warmongerer by the left. Where is it written that those that support the President, the troops, and dealing with those that hijacked and crashed 4 planes on September 11th, carry out suicide bombings, use human beings as bargaining chips in hostage-taking scenarios, etc. love the idea of US, British, Australian, etc. men and women going to war? While Saddam and his regime need to be dealt with, I hate the fact that war is the only way Saddam will allow the WORLD to deal with him. Saddam, afterall, has been so receptive to diplomatic means to disarm peacefully the last 12 years. While I am pro-war, to think that I don't worry about every intangible as a result of war is assinine. Tough times demand tough decisions. Clinton sat around and did nothing after terrorist attacks during his 8 years. After Sept. 11th, the terrorists expected the same song-and-dance that they got from Clinton. "We will bring those parties responsible to justice," Clinton would say. Terrorists and those that harbor them never saw George Bush going after every single last one of them post 09/11. And if the countries that permit terrorist Organizations to train and flourish within their borders don't turn them over to authorities to be dealt with diplomatically, how do the anti-war people suggest we deal with them? Anti-war demonstrators need to realize that there is a specific subset of the World population that only respond to force. Saddam Hussein and his regimes are an example of such subset.

While I understand what cwsox is saying, it is also ridiculous to say that the only way you can serve your country or be pro-war is to enlist in the Armed Forces. How many soldiers died in the World Trade Center? How many soldiers died trying to save the lives of those trapped in the World Trade Center? Of course, some soldiers died in the attack on the Pentagon but the Pentagon was a military target. The WTC was strictly civilian and was attacked, for the most part, because of what it symbolized. Fact of the matter is, you don't have to be in the US Armed Forces to serve your country or to be pro-war. Are you ready to tell the families of the WTC victims "to put their money where their mouth is" and enlist in the military if they are pro-war? What about the police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, doctors, and nurses who..... if we are victims of another terrrorist attack today..... will be the first on scene to help the dying and injured at the risk of themselves being the victim of a terrorist's secondary device? Fact of the matter is, during the War on Terrorism, you don't have to enlist in the military to proudly serve your country or to be pro-war.

I never had a problem with Butter as long as he pitched and kept his mouth shut. Whenever he opened his trap, he sounded whinier than 10 Big Hurts. Personally..... I think France is now saying they will help because they know war is now inevitable. 12 years of deceit is about to come to an end. AND..... France doesn't want to be cut off economically by the United States. France is not our ally..... never has been. It's about time the citizens of the United States realized this.

Byah's statement is the exact opposite of what either Daschle or Gephardt was quoted as saying last night..... I think it was Daschle. He said something to the effect that ".....Bush had failed miserably at diplomacy....." Whatever. I guess 12 years of song-and-dance from Saddam isn't enough of a reason to get tough with him and his hell spawn. Some liberals are starting to sound like the Iraqi foreign minister who called for Blair's and Bush's resignation for war crimes On a side note..... I have always been pretty much in line with Byah's political policies. He's one of the few politicians that will, occasionally, buck the party line and vote for what he thinks is best for his constituents..... even though it might not be the best thing to do for his political aspirations and affiliations.

Check your options board guys. I own ASB 2003 and there is a "easy hit" option which makes the game a little more enjoyable for first-timers. However, ASB 2004 may not have it. Does ASB 2004 have "Old Comiskey" as a batting practice ball park?

Don't forget that, on top of those 45 days, Saddam has had 12 previous years to disarm during which time he stalled, ejected UN Inspection teams, etc. Those that feel the UN Inspectors need more time must figure that 12 years isn't enough time to fully disarm Nobody likes a tyrant until someone has the balls to stand up to him.

It's being reported by CNN that Saddam has issued the chemical shells to those soldiers whom he feels are 100% loyal to him..... the ones that would die for him rather than surrender.

It's been well documented and the UN knows that Iraq has chemical and biological weapons. Saddam used chemical weapons on the Kurds about 15 years ago. This is FACT.
