wtf is with the convicted cop killer on your aviator???????????? ahh crap..i was hoping this would stay on topic What's good for Lott is good for Moran. Step down, resign, whatever.
-
You're probably right..... but Harris will be a hole in the line-up and a liability in the OF. Maybe a "steady diet of ML pitching"..... as HSC puts it..... will do JB alot of good.
-
Absolutely. 100% agreement here Baggs. God Bless Tony Blair for standing up for what he believes to be true..... approval polls be damned. Sometimes the right thing isn't the popular thing to do.
-
Very true. Similar musings about ShamME hitting a dinger and the Cubs losing but everything being all right in CubDumb have been posted here WAY before this. But it's good to see an ex-sCrUB talk bad about his old team..... and his daddy's old team

Don't give JM any tinkering ideas johndyce . If Rowand can't go, it's Borchard's job. And if Borchard plays to or above what is expected, it's bye-bye Aaron Rowand.
-
ill be happy if he can go more than two batters this year.. maybe shoot for a couple of innings at a time??? hope thats not too much to ask.... That's more JM than K Wunsch, IMO, HSC.
-
alright smart ass who told ya that news.... huh... come on now... give it up........the very same person who also brought the news that the seats are gonna stay BLUE no matter how much you hate that fact......lol.... give it up kruzer.. your busted.................. Who told you that Kruzer? Soxfan420? Seriously though, if they put a restaurant in CF, it should be a goddamn HOOTERS!!!!! Wings, beer, and baseball..... mmmmm..... beer Not to mention, an outdoor baseball park and HOOTERS waitresses usually wear WHITE SHIRTS!!!!! C'mon rain..... ..... of course, only after the White Sox have a commanding lead after 5 and 1/2 innings.

I was unaware that the phrase "reach-around" was in a virgin's vocabulary

rewarding what... it sucks he should be pitching the home opener......not the road opener.. who gives two s***s about that ..we want to see him in his house... not someone elses............... It's JMHO HSC..... but I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill. It is important to get the season off on a good note with a win. JM giving MB the ball for the Season Opener is the right decision. And whether he's pitching or not, I know a few Sox fans that are gonna let MB know he's appreciated on Chicago's Southside come player intros at USCF on Opening Day

Sox's spin on negotiations displeases Buehrle camp
CubKilla replied to Mr. Showtime's topic in Pale Hose Talk
jas dont count on it..... whats done is done.... bridges are burning and no water in site........... HSC beat me to it Chisoxfn. Don't hold your breath. MB's gone the first chance he gets. And he should make a killing in arbitration..... especially if he wins close to 20 or more this season. And not to toot my own horn or two other people's horns here , but myself, HSC, and CWsox were skeptical of the White Sox press release THE MINUTE the Organization posted it on WhiteSox.com and ESPN.com. Sounds like this 5 yr, 27 million dollar contract had more loopholes and fineprint than Big Hurt's. -
Good call JM. I said all along that Buehrle is our Number One and should start the Season Opener. Buehrle..... followed by Colon and then Garland works out better anyway..... at least IMHO
-
Could you all imagine the carnage..... both on the field and in the stands..... if a brawl broke out between the teams during one of the Cubs/Sox series?
-
I know it's hard to believe, but the BlackHawks may be more f***ed up than the Bears..... and that's pretty f***ed up. God, I hope the rumors are true that "Dollar Bill" is losing money on the BlackHawks now and his cheap ass is forced to sell to someone who gives a damn.
-
The BlackHawks "White Flag" started a long time ago..... right around the time Roenick and Belfour left. The last time this team was competitive, even remotely competitive, was about 10 years ago now. I can't remember who said it here first, but it looks like last year was, indeed, a fluke.

It's Mumia Abu-Jamal. The guy wrongly accused of the murder of a police officer in 1982. The trial had a lot of problems. His lawyer didn't cross examine witnesses, they wouldn't let Mumia become his own defense attorney, and they used his membership in MOVE and the Black Panthers as reasons to give him the death penalty. So currently, he is residing in Pennsylvania death row writing books like "Live From Death Row" and he even had a radio segment (I have the CD 'All Things Censored'). There is a really big movement showing how s***ty his trial was and how, if not acquitted from the crime he didn't commit...at least get a new, much more fair trial. Fiction can be amusing Bill Curtis did a good piece on "the guy wrongly accused" on A&E's "American Justice." If it's on again Baggs, I suggest you try to catch it if you want a good laugh at Mumia's expense. This guy is as guilty as OJ only he couldn't afford "The Dream Team." Doesn't matter though..... "Dream Team" or no "Dream Team"..... it won't change the fact that he is guilty. One of Mumia's biggest Hollywood supporters is washed-up Hollywood actor Ed Asner. When discussing this case, an interviewer asked Mr Asner, who claimed to be a staunch death penalty opponent , if your son or daughter was the victim of the crime for which Mumia was convicted (and his conviction has been held up repeatedly despite all the "problems" with his trial and admissions by Mumia of his innocence), would you want Mumia put to death? Guess what the staunch death penalty opponent said? Let's just be nice and call Mr Asner the ultimate hypocrite. And Apu, while your buying books and CD's written by a CONVICTED COP KILLER, won't you make a contribution to the family of slain Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner's family..... a family that lost a husband and a father to a savage like Mumia while protecting the life and property of the citizens of Philadelphia? Too bad they couldn't send you a CD or book written by Daniel Faulkner in return huh? At least the hypocrite Mr Asner made a contribution recognizing the fact that Daniel Faulkner died protecting life. Too bad you and him find it necessary to defend a punk who takes life.

Who cares where I heard the news. It was reported and I reported it..... obviously it was correct since you heard it from the high-brow BBC

surrendered to British soldiers today while the Brits were undergoing a training exercise near the Kuwait/Iraq border. Seems the Iraqi soldiers heard gunfire and thought the war was beginning and ran to the Kuwait/Iraq border to surrender to the soon-to-be Allied Liberators of Iraq. If this is any sign, the impending Iraqi conflict may be over before it even starts. Oh yeah..... as reported by the Channel 9 News at Noon, Monday, March 10, 2003.

Good read Baggs. Thanks
-
If Rowand can't go, we have to go with Borchard.
-
Unless Paul can learn how to play more than just catcher.... That is sad, but true I thought I remember hearing somewhere that JM was gonna have JP work out in the OF for a few ST games this year. Anyone else hear about this? Has JP played any games for a time in the OF this ST?
-
I wouldn't count on it.
-
That can't be right..... unless KW has leaked another half-truth to ESPN..... like 5 years/27 million is actually 5 years, 12 million, with 13 million in incentives.
-
Unbelievable :fyou JR and your "no longterm contracts for pitchers" Everyone get ready for MB to go somewhere where he'll be appreciated (see: St. Louis) in '06..... and I don't blame him one bit.
-
speak for yourself......... I fully admit to being a man whore..... at least a wanna-be man whore
