C'mon Vince..... I need a little bit of comedy in my life. Guido's tired, always used quips aren't funny after awhile

Well, I'm going out on a limb here, if you believe the Oliver Stone/Jim Garrison take on the Kennedy Assassination, that would be a coup. It will be interesting to see in something like 2025 (since most collaborators and actors involved in the Kennedy Assassination will probably be dead) what the government knew/knows and is not telling the American people as to date. Additionally, will the government release ALL of the documents/films that the CIA currently has? As far as the American Empire eventually falling? I do not think it will happen from within. Remember how the nation reacted on 09/11? Imagine an invading force trying to occupy this country or..... for that matter..... imagine a force from within trying to take everything we have as Americans away. Citizens would become soldiers. Vigilantism would be the word of the day. If the American Empire does fall it will be because of forces from the outside and, IMHO, the attack type would have to be nuclear. When/if America retaliates in the same way, nuclear holocaust will ensue and there will be no Empire..... anywhere..... left to save.

I also forgot to add that my sCrUB fan friend said that a rotation of Wood, Clement, Prior, Zambrano, and Siro would be the best in baseball. He tried to compare it to the Braves rotation at the height of their 90's success.
-
I never went to the Help Board. I'll check it out.
-
Well, according to a diehard sCrUB fan of mine, it looks as if Siro may be the number 5 starter behind a rotation of Wood, Clement, Prior, and Zambrano. I think that Scott guy will be their number 5, but, keep in mind, I was talking baseball with a Cub fan

I agree simply based on the discovery of all of the torn labrums after "Shouldergate." KW may be a stooge, but I really think he had no clue that Sirotka's sore are was due to an injury.
-
WTF? That is unacceptable. I'd never let my girl take me away from baseball. She can work at Taco Bell for min wage before that happens . Whipped.....
-
Ahhhhh..... Off Karko just returned today saying he couldn't log on for about 10 days. Maybe LDF is having the same problem. Maybe you're right Roman.
-
Sorry bout this..... maybe I missed it..... but what are you talking about?

I am 35 and my wife won't keep up with me. How come I am married to the only woman that has a decreased sex drive after 30? I am more horny now than when I was a teenager and there is no Viagra involved. Now I am all worked up and will have to go home and beat off to porn. Get a discrete and understanding girlfriend. hes got one lol...... Remember the old Eagles hit with the line "Lookin for a lover who won't blow my cover she's sooo hard to find"? You guys are really "dating" yourselves
-
You can put it on the boooaaarrrd..... YYYYYEEEEESSSSS!!!!!
-
Where LDF went? He used to post here all the time and I haven't seen him in about 2 weeks. Anybody know what's up? HSC?
-
That is why the "tie goes to the runner" You beat the ball to the bag..... that sounds dirty.....
-
I don't think Sirotka has pitched at all at the ML level since 2001.
-
Wirtz is, BY FAR, the worst team owner in Chicago..... and that is saying alot of a field that includes JR, the Tribune Company, and the McCaskey's. I think Chicago, bar none, has the absolute worst owners of sports teams in the nation.
-
Either way, JP could be replaced by another stiff catcher fairly easily
-
Molto. Hopefully, your boys are taking you out tonight and they'll be carrying you out at night's end. If not, look me, Guido, and RPS up at the tailgate on Opening Day and we'll help you celebrate being 21 the right way. Happy B-day and, again, thanks for these boards
-
That's what I call a good night
-
Is that .259 at the ML level or is that lifetime..... majors and minors? And, I think you'd agree with me, if JP played everyday that number would go down to the likes of Mark Johnson..... without the occasional pop.
-
These boards are like crack..... I know
-
They'll have more combined wins than the Bulls and BlackHawks :fyou "Dollar Bill" :fyou JR
-
They already have a Pro Bowl caliber WR that they hardly even threw to in '02..... Marcus Robinson. Yeah he was injured in '01. But the 20 or so times they threw him the ball this season, he didn't drop one pass that was catchable. Now Pro Bowler Booker on the other hand..... I can remember at least 19 points he flat out dropped in '02. I also heard Robinson had a clause in '02's contract that said if he caught more than 35 passes this season, the Bears would have to pay him around $100,000. That would explain why they didn't throw to him.
-
No way. Susceptibility to career ending injury is just one of the reasons you don't sign players to contracts this big in the NFL. The Salary Cap is the other reason. Not to mention the fact that, even though Urlacher is good, no way is he worth $14 million + a season. Drop the crack pipe
-
Yep. If you couldn't get the Super Bowl Caliber Plummer, go with a guy that has at least proven he could win in the NFL.
-
Of course the "what-if" scenarios are only plausible when talking about Klayton on the defensive side of the ball. MB is not a headhunter and we all know Klayton doesn't see 1B until the second half of the season.
