Especially during the "Joey Meyer Experience"
  2. When the Cubs say goodbye to Jesus since he'll be worth so much, that is when he'll get really good
  3. If JM starts tinkering with the fifth spot, I'll be calling for his head. The fifth spot should be (preferably) Rauch. I have a feeling though that JM isn't going to name a fifth starter because then he can tinker all season long with that spot. I think JM is going to name Loaiza as the fifth starter out of ST. JM has already mentioned his desire to tinker with the number 2 spot in the batting order too. I'M f***ING SICK AND TIRED OF JM AND HIS TINKERING! Tinker on a Sunday here-and-there like most MLB manager's do. And as a side note..... Glover or Ginter should be worst case scenario starters..... only starting games that one of the 5 (or 12 possible starters with JM and his tinkering) starters misses due to an injury, suspension, family emergency, etc. If Glover or Ginter is used as a starter this season, IMHO, we're gonna be in trouble.
  4. I saw it on ESPN. Bonds crushed that ball.
  5. I was going to mention the KISS casket too. But it's worth it..... you can use it as a cooler before you die
  6. I agree with you there. I find it funny how some on this board rip on, as you call them, Pathetica, but treat KISS as if they are still some kind of "all for the fans" rock band. KISS are the ultimate sellouts. Not to mention, their pathetic attempts to get more money from their loyal fans always reaches new lows. Additionally, the hundreds, maybe thousands, of lawsuits where KISS sued one or more of their fans civilly for any of a number of really petty violations of certain corporate laws. And last but not least, KISS was really never that good. :fyou KISS
  7. You're not the only one that is concerned about this deal. I like Koch's attitude. But I still don't like this deal. And when it comes to KW's deals and my feelings, I'm usually right. I hope I'm wrong on this one.
  8. Joe Jackson was the only Sox player during the 1919 WS to hit over .300, hit a HR, and not make an error. Any speculation that Jackson was involved in throwing the WS is just that..... speculation. Prove that he threw the series or tried to with those numbers. And you are right witesoxfan. The "Black Sox" were known as the "Black Sox" among Chicagoans and Chicago sports media at the time before the scandel because washing uniforms cost money and Comiskey was too cheap to even do that for his players. The moniker stuck as a result of the national media using the Chicagoans term "Black Sox" to describe the team after news of the scandal broke.
  9. I know it was only one game, but the White Sox did win the game that Jesus Prior started 5-4 didn't frank hit a laser beam out into the Sox bullpen in that game? Yes. It was a line drive shot. Hurt hammered it. Moisty Alube hit two off of Garland that day and CubKilla Carlos Lee hit one off of Juan Cruz in relief. That was also the game where Osuna pumped his fist in the air after striking out ShamME Soso in the 9th to win the game and Soso talked to the press about "I never show up the pitchers like Osuna showed up me" after the game.

  11. Nah. I would never think of collecting on that bet. You are always more than willing to let me, Guido, and RPS bum a few burgers and, as Guido would say, saaaaa-sage from you when we're getting crunked at a USCF tailgate. That doesn't go without appreciation you know
  12. You should bring some of them to a tailgate at USCF then
  13. Well..... December you still have January, February, March and most of April. March you have that and most of April. Spring and all it's gulley washing rain will be upon us before we know it..... and so will White Sox baseball.
  14. I doubted HSC at 2002's SoxFest and she STILL owes me a 6 pack of Sam Adams yeah what was that bet even about again..i foregot........... Who was going to start in CF for the Sox on Opening Day 2002
  15. Better to be freezing in March than freezing in December though
  16. Comiskey was the greatest.

  18. Don't complain..... it's already March
  19. Yep. Born in Oct of '74. Buried my face in a fresh teeny slit (the same age as me at the time) in May of '90. Didn't like it at first, but pussy is an acquired taste..... like beer.
