  1. I know you haven't forgotten who we're dealing with here Baggs. JR is reluctant to sign MB, who has won 35 games for us over two seasons. JR is in no rush to sign Colon longterm..... especially since he has yet to win one game in a White Sox uniform. Sign MB first, then Colon. And, some may think I'm crazy for thinking this, but I think alot of whether or not JR will be willing to sign Colon longterm later on this season will have to do with how one Jon Garland pitches. Think about it..... if he can win 15+, we have the second best 1,2,3 in baseball (Yankees). He loses and is, again, inconsistent, you know the rest of the story.....
  2. Well, when it comes to "small ball"..... especially bunting..... this whole team needs work..... not just CLee. But I know what you're saying Baggs.

PS..... congrats on 1500 and MVP status

Hard to tell at this point. The worst thing that could have happened for the Bears was 2001's 13-3 season with Jim Miller as the QB. While they should have been one of the teams courting Drew Bledsoe, they figured-----we went 13-3 with JM..... we don't need DB-----and decided to go with a glorified second-stringer and a potato chip as his back-up. Now, after a 4-12 2002 campaign, they let JM go when there is no real market for proven starting QB's. Pathetic.

Too bad Angelo isn't running the team Baggs. I am of the opinion that Mikey is still calling the shots..... Angelo just does what Mikey says..... for the most part

If that happens, he'll be dead two years after retirement.

    The Hawks

No need to. The numbers speak for themselves. :fyou "Dollar" Bill!!!!! Sell you cheap decrepit f***!
  9. I had to go to a co-workers funeral for his grandma today. That's why I couldn't join RPS and Guido Ah well, there will be other SnR broadcasts for me to sit on in.
  10. This is old news from 2002 actually. After a White Sox loss, it was reported by the media that KW stormed into the White Sox locker room and overturned a buffet table full of food and called the players, collectively, a bunch of "b****es."
  11. No problem. My friends with tats swear by it. Glad I could help.
  12. I'm pretty sure MB is just looking for a little modicum of respect and a commitment to him for 3-4 years by the White Sox Organization. While money is a factor, I think MB just wants to know the Organization respects what he has done for the last two seasons and ponies up accordingly to what other pitchers of his age and caliber have been getting by their Organizations. I truly believe MB isn't about the money at all.
  13. Not sure if you know this..... but Preparation H is supposed to work wonders on "itchy" tattoos.
  14. More than likely. He's not a starter, closer, set-up man, or long reliever..... Glover will be the long reliever in 2003 for the White Sox IMHO. Ginter's trade bait big time.
  15. I think JM is gonna tinker with the number 5 slot all season long. Look for Loaiza/Heredia in April and May and Rauch, possibly, after that.

If a nation completely disarms all their weapons, what is to stop other nations (i.e. Iran...we do remember the Iran-Iraq war, correct?) from invading and taking over? Complete disarmament is a pipe dream for any nation. Any country is going to keep weapons on hand for defense. If Iraq wasn't so close to our terrorist pal, Israel (don't get me wrong, I condemn Palestinian terrorism as well...I think Sharon and Arafat are both hardline non-negotiating f***s that need to get out of power for any sort of progress to be made) then Iraq wouldn't be so much of a problem (cuz let's face it...Iraqi missiles can't hit us, but they can hit Israel which is the main reason we want them to disarm) We are worried about a man who possibly has capabilities to attack us. Yet, we are not worrying about a man who has nuclear capabilities who can theoretically hit the United States with a missile. We are not worrying about the man who has orchestrated the horrific 9/11 attacks. We are not worrying about trying to alleviate an incredibly s***ty economy. We're worried about a 3rd world moderately secular country with a leader who we provided with a vast array of weapons in the 1980s. I'd rather worry about groups that have attacked us then worrying about using military force against countries who have never attacked us. I mean, Ashcroft is raping our civil liberties, we can at least make the cost worthwhile, right US government? I don't know how you did that but I never said what you're quoting me as saying there.
  17. Couple consistency with a 14 game winner and you have a possible number 1 or 2 as our number 3 or 4
  18. No..... just good to see Choice wearing a uniform other than the silver and black
  19. True..... but the 2000 White Sox had "heart" and the 2001 Indians had "heart." A winner always has heart. A winner also has alot of other intangibles going their way. We'll see how much "heart" the Twins have if they have an injury plague similar to the White Sox in 2001. I don't wish for this though. I want the Sox to reclaim the AL Central from a healthy Twins team. After all, the "injury excuse" usually has alot more validity than a "schedule excuse" or a "weather during game play excuse."
  20. Too bad "an inflamed throwing arm" can't explain Wright's incredible inconsistency which have plagued his career thus far.
  21. What beautiful pictures ! Yeah..... K-layton wears that Brew Crew uni well
  22. I agree - and now maybe Porzio is out. I want to see Kelly on our opening day roster - the only pitcher we still have from the 2000 team - Kelly is, most likely, on the Opening Day roster after that s***ty outing by Porzio against the sCrUBS today. One game like that in ST could make or break a fringe guy like Porzio.
  23. I hope so - I just have never liked him, never saw anything that be brought to the table Somewhere..... Kelly Wunsch is smiling
  24. Well said. It wasn't 15 seconds after the White Sox A team + Porzio lost and a sCrUB fan friend of mine called to give me s***. :fyou Cub "fans"
