  1. This was definitely Esteban's worst game of the season. 6 runs :puke. Umps were definitely not giving EL some calls that I thought were clearly strikes. Alomar ejected early for arguing balls and strikes. Everett was misjudging fly balls in CF. White Sox faced another pitcher they never saw and sucked it up..... yet again. JM made alot of coaching errors and misused the BP..... YET AGAIN. Today's game was total Murphy's Law. Let's hope we can get them tomorrow

  3. You expected different?
  4. what a great ending to my great day :fthecubs Don't worry. It took till August for the Cubs to regain first place from two teams that would have left the Cubs in the dust if it wasn't for some of their big names being injured for some or most of the '03 season. Cubs will still finish in 3rd :fthecubs
  5. If this move that just blew up in the White Sox faces folks isn't enough to tell you that JM doesn't have clue-f***ing-one..... I'm not sure what will. Walk PayRod to GET to a guy that is was what..... 2-3..... 3-4 with at least 2 RBI's already in this game and would have had at least 3 RBI's if PayRod wasn't thrown out at the plate earlier by Maggs? :fyou Manuel. You ASSHOLE!
  6. We've been in first place for less than 24 hours and never led by more than .5 a game. Maybe this "goof" has a point.
  7. If that's what makes you a great manager, any of us can do what JM is doing. Just give us lifetime stat sheets and always go with the righty/lefty-lefty/righty and..... WHA-LA..... you're a manager just like JM is. His over reliance on stats and averages bothers the hell out of me.
  8. You wouldn't think we were a "contender" with AA and AAA pitchers starting and relieving now would you?
  9. France? I take it all back
  10. Who's that broad in your avatar?
  11. This game was over long before that
  12. I wouldn't give him a shot - he has Ken Hill written all over him in my mind's eye Would he be any worse than Rick White, Billy Botch, Jon Adkins, or Matt Ginter..... all of whom got lit up this season more than they closed the door? I may be premature on Adkins..... this kid just isn't ML ready yet..... like Cotts.
  13. We're making our move
  14. For the Team USA Little League team Everyone gets to play!
  15. The golden sombrero?
  16. Manuel is s***. Most of the posters here know it. The MLB players know it (SI poll ranked JM third worst among players in MLB). I even think, dare I say it, KW knows it. JR, however, is not going to fire this jerkoff since he'd have to pay him the remainder of this season and for all of next season.

That GS against the Cubs has clouded my memory But I know what you are saying and I've been saying it for awhile now..... what Olivo is bringing to the game offensively is a far cry from what he does behind the plate defensively.

Too bad the White Sox have no control over the umpiring. And what they do have control over, such as situational hitting, they just have not done all season long. Manuel just sits in the dugout with that stupid look on his face and does nothing but make "X's" with his arms when he wants the IF drawn in. The only solice I will get out of the White Sox possibly not making the playoffs is that, hopefully, JM's dumbass will be deep-sixed.

please, never play a drinking game where everyone has to down a drink every time Olvio swings a ball that is out of the strike zone Or Carlos Lee. He's swung at 3 pitches just this week that were 3 feet outside and in the dirt..... including tonight.

    Only not as ugly

At least we give 100% every night and play like we have a ton of heart Puhlease :puke

You were saying? This guy blows. Another AA-AAA pitcher who has no business being up here in a supposed pennant race.
  23. Try 8 Here's to a 1-4 roadtrip through Friday
  24. For losing 3 of 4 to Anaheim..... the defending WS Champs ?
  25. I did. Thomas has been a .250-.270 hitter ever since '99 with the exception of 2000..... and that may be generous. Is that because he has been DH'ing the majority of the time? Doubt it. So he got hot during '03's interleague. Is that because he was playing 1B during that stretch? Doubt it.
