Hang Em High in Texas
I'd rather the White Sox crush my hopes now than crush them on 09/28. I expect very little from this team anymore. Yeah, we're still in contention, but has anybody from JR all the way down to the minimum wager with the least seniority in the White Sox Organization even noticed?

Nothing across for the Zombies. Going to the bottom 8.

Hang Em High in Texas
Don't worry. I feel a 4 run bottom 8 for Texas and a big 5 run 9th for the White Sox ala Anaheim's Game 1 :puke.

A new forum should be created.
I don't know anymore. But I will say this..... if Minnesota passes us up, they will never look back and the Twins will win this Division.

Hang Em High in Texas
Why is he batting 5th. For the love of God, JM blasts Thomas in the papers then benches him and puts this dope 5th. . JM CANNOT say what he said about Frank and then not play him in the next game. That is unacceptable IMO. Can we chalk this up as yet another reason to fire this asshole? It's starting to get quite ridiculous..... IMHO.

Who would you choose as your ace?
Yeah. Mark Prior. You all can take your always-on-the-DL Pedro. I'll take my staff ace of the future Prior.

Kid BB's days are numbered considering he throws so hard after having Tommy John Surgery. A sore back will be the least of his problems down the line. Zambrano will join Kid BB in the injury dept as soon as mid-'04..... IMHO. Probably not Tommy John Surgery, but shoulder problems from throwing hard (mid-90's) and over use. Prior is so fluid in his motion that I don't think he will ever be afflicted by serious arm problems from just pitching. Overuse may play a factor into future missed starts for Prior, but I don't really see long term problems for him down the road. His mechanics are awesome..... bordering on flawless. A similar Giles/Prior-like crash comparable to the one earlier this year on the basepaths may be the only thing that could derail the future of Prior. Too bad he pitches for the Cubs. I can't wait till he leaves them Maddux-Style

The umpires.
I am over it. It's just when someone mention's the "Worst Call Ever" against the Sox, that is the call that sticks out most in my mind. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it anytime someone brings up the "Worst Call Ever" against the Sox. Get used to it cause when it comes up again, I'll post it AGAIN..... until a call worse than Crede's "foul" HR comes my way.

No. Just pointing out JM's impotence as White Sox manager. At least that is what I'm doing.

What did JM do? I forgot. Oh yeah..... NOT A f***ING THING! But remember..... JM's a good manager though- The umpires.
Nope. Crede's "foul" HR in Baltimore was the absolute worst- What Do the Sox Do Now?
Is there a difference between the two?- Other games looking bright
I agree. I'd rather be looking up at the Royals..... not the Twins. The Sox NEED to win the next 2 with KC winning tomorrow. If that happens, come Monday, the Sox will be in 2nd..... 2 ahead of MN and 1 behind KC.- What Do the Sox Do Now?
I love how the majority of Sox fans still think that playing Frank at first will automatically raise his BA .040-.050 points from that point until the end of the season Unbelievable- Just Wondering.....
Just wondering..... I know there was a Boooooce Springsteen Concert on Wednesday at USCF, but as I drove by the home of the Chicago White Sox today, August 16, 2003, at approximately 9:30 AM, the parking lot signs..... particularly the Lot G signs West of the RR tracks and USCF proper, the sign now reads that Parking costs TWENTY-MOTHERf***ING-DOLLARS! I truly and sincerely hope that JR's greed got the best of him like it always does and he raised parking at the USCF lots specifically for the Boooooce Concert. If JR has raised parking prices $7 now that the White Sox are drawing 35-40 thousand White Sox fans on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays specifically, then this cheap motherf***er can sit on one of his monster scoreboard pinwheels and spin while singing The Doors "Roadhouse Blues" for all I f***ing care. Anyone "in the know" know if this was for the Concert or has JR found a way to f*** the White Sox fans loyalty once again?- What the hell happened tonight?
I've witnessed CorpseBall at USCF too unfortunately in '03. So no - Compare and Contrast
