Over the past six years nearly every guy we brought in has performed below career norms, and many of them had solid track records. Other teams pick up guys off the scrap heap and strike gold. Very frustrating.

We had our winning streak outside the division, and then immediately started struggling when we started playing the division again. We don't play well against any of the teams in our division, that's been a big issue for a few years now.

I was born in 1990 and didn't follow the Sox full-time until half-way through the 2004 season. This means my first full season of fandom ended at the mountaintop, and since then it's been all downhill. The last 7 years have been very frustrating in multiple aspects, but I would never consider switching teams.

LaRoche is the only one who's figured out that Bauer will likely walk you if you're patient with him. How have we not figured that out by now? Third time facing him already.

Some of the radio guys last night kept pointing out that this streak has come against cellar dwellers, and while true, the Brewers just beat the Tigers in Detroit and the A's just beat the Astros in Houston. Kluber and the Indians also dominated the best team in the NL last week on the road as well. Also, in 2012 we really struggled against the bad teams, which was a big contributor along with our bad record against Detroit to losing the division.

How about a nice 8-game winning streak for old time's sake?
