If they can just get through the top of the first inning without things going sideways like last game I think they cruise through the rest of the game.

He has a 147 wRC+ and .922 OPS with RISP and a 151 wRC+ with men on base but sure.

I guess the other part of having a team to really care about again is that it also means you have teams to really hate again. Haven't hated a team like this Cleveland team in a long time. Going to relish the day they get eliminated.

As trash as the Red Sox offense was in that series Cleveland still only out-scored them by one run. I think the most frustrating part of this recent stretch by Cleveland is that they never look good but still keep winning.

He threw the ball like it was his first game in little league, wtf was that
-
Absolute bullshit man
-
They've scored 3 or 4 runs 28 times. 21% of the time which is slightly below league-average for 3-4 runs, so it doesn't stick out. I'm not really seeing anything that suggests this offense is inconsistent, they actually seem to be one of the more consistent offenses in the league.

Sox offense: Scoring 0-2 runs: 38 times - 7th fewest in MLB Scoring 5+ runs: 67 times - 3rd most in MLB Scoring 7+ runs: 32 times - 12th most in MLB That doesn't seem like a feast or famine offense.

6 pitch inning. Send him out for the 8th?
-
This guy is struggling to throw 87 as a RHP in 2026, wild
-
Nice job getting out of it
-
Bullpen has been about as good as you can hope for, especially with how many innings they've had to cover lately.
-
Called it!
-
Great pitch!

Stop trying to make McGonigle chase!
-
By fWAR they're 19th since start of June so quite a bit of luck in that ERA
-
Huge break
-
Better a K than bunting into another double play I guess
-
f*** yes Colson
-
At least he's making him throw a ton of pitches
-
Melton came in to this game with a 94% LOB, and I see he continues to have a horseshoe up his ass.
-
Trying to get McGonigle to chase is never a good plan
-
Colson due for a HR
-
That was a super lazy play by Baez too, Sam caught him sleeping.
-
Hell of a slide!
